Venaci Wheels?
 

Does anyone know of another way to purchase Venaci wheels other then VIP Status? I currently have a set on order but I have no idea when im getting them. I'm tired of the very poor customer service and broken promises from VIP. I know there are multiple people having issues like I am. Some people have been waiting a year plus. Theres absolutley no acceptable reason for that in my book. I would not be concerned with the broken deadlines if there weren't people having the same issues and have been waiting over a year now. Thanks for the help.

There is a list that stogey420time made of members and the issues were having on page 6. He also has a list of my350z members on page 3. Some are on both lists.

I think jamaica sells them or bullitt, nice guys. They are pretty big supporters though of vip status, so I am sure theyll try and help you though with your issue.

I hit jamaica up in another VIP thread but he never responded. VIP is months past my delivery date and I've been trying to call for days with no answer. It's irritating that you can't leave a message either. They have the worst customer service I've dealt with.

I've been waiting five months now. I was promised a two month delivery time before I placed the order and was assured all the problems were solved and this could never happen again. I have had at least 5 missed deadlines and it takes multiple attempts and at least month to get a reply from Rick. If I didn't already have this amount of time and money involved I would run, but alas, I still want my wheels. Everyone still vouches for Rick at VIP and assures me he won't rip me off. Hell, I'm sure he's probably a really nice guy. I can say however, that you shouldn't buy wheels from VIP unless you can really honestly say that you don't give a f*ck when you get them. If anyone could offer us a little help with the situation, that would be great.

That's crazy man. I'm in America but on the opposite coast so I'm not able to physically go and check on them as well. It's a very frustrating process

I was told the same story man, and this just keeps on going. I could understand a delay or two but not every single month. I wouldn't be typing here either if they would just answer the phone or a pm. Agreed, if didn't already have time in money in this I would run. I haven't even asked for a refund cause I know there's people on my350 that have been waiting a year for a simple refund.

Jamaica's phone number is somewhere on this forum, call him and ask him to get you to Rick?

I am going to respond on Ricks behalf. Yes you do have wheels on order and well as an exhaust. Right now, Both rick and I are moving to different shops this is why he isnt able to answer. One thing people need to realize that wheels are custom made. These are not made in america. Its Japan. Custom wheels, custom offsets for your car. When wheels are being made, they dont just make one wheel and send it overnight from japan to cali. They have to make wheels in sets. In large sets. So yes it will take a while. Shipping the wheel from japan in another issue. Shipping wheels from japan to cali that not air freight is the best option. Air freight for wheels will honestly cost 1700-2000. When shipping in a container, it has to ship will muliple items not just wheels. People have been waiting a long time for wheels. I understand deadline have been broken but the process in itself it long. No just wheels, also with lip kits, body kits and alot of JDM parts. There are parts I have ordered from japan since october and there finally arriving next month.

My second concern is, you ordered a lip kit, wing, wheels and exhaust. You want Rick to ship the wheels and exhaust to you before you even pay for the wheels and exhaust. :rolleyes: anyways im sorry for the wait, but if you dont want JDM wheels dont wait. I know people waiting for volks for 6-8 months. As I see this day to day..alot of people are losing patience and want things now.

^^ if the process is that long and you are not delivering maybe you need to set a more realistic deadline for your customers?
All of the wheels that i ordered from Japan (2 sets of works and 1 set of SSRs) came before the deadline. And communication and order status was always good.
Just saying...

I honestly dont know what deadlines are given. A more realistic deadline will truly help out. With the car industry nothing goes as planned. I honestly try my best to provide customer service but nothing is always perfect. IF its not with wheels its with something else. Weres my stage 2 supercharger...weres my body kit...weres my wheels. Its a never ending game. I do see your point and your correct.

+100....most of these guys are complaining after the deadline they were told about.

Maybe Jamaica's response should be a disclaimer for Venaci in general. People wait long periods for Volks but generally speaking..they are pretty good about giving proper deadlines.....and as a result are deemed pretty reliable.

VIP and Venaci have been very inconsistent.....and frankly the excuses are all getting old.

Jamaica, please don't post if you don't know what your talking about. I only have wheels on order. I don't know what exhaust and lip kit your talking about. We all know your Ricks boy so I'm not relying on you for help anymore, not that you did anything to begin with. If it's such a long and grueling process Rick should tell us instead of lying every time I hear from him. If just said hey Billy this is gonna take a while I wouldnt be sitting here writing this. I don't understand why them moving faculties means they could neglect their customers. Besides, that's only the excuse this time. What's the excuse been for the people waiting over a year? What's the excuse your gonna tell me next month? And yeah, I'm not going to pay full on a set of wheels that I don't have and can't even get a simple response as to when I'll have them.

I'm not complaining because it's after the deadline, I'm complaining cause it's after the third deadline I've been giving and I only see it getting worse since other members are now at over a year wait.

I never said you should help me. I asked if somebody could help and another vendor said you might be able to help. Plus the fact that in another thread you said you'll be giving out pricing on Ricks behalf states that it is your business.

Yes that wheel i helped design so yes I can give out pricing on the wheel i helped design.

I am just glad that I never ordered from them. god knows how that would of turned out.

I do not think this the mesh of Rick is to be excused.

I have stepped August, 2010 with Rick first sometimes in contact because I would like to copy the Venaci-370z version, the person in Germany this see and a lot with Rick order with it he well turnover can make.

At the end of August I ordered the Wing (coach voucher) and the embroiderers.
In November, 2010 the embroiderers have come, these are 3 months of delay.

The Wing was not present yet.
He said it would only have to be produced.

The production of the Wing lasts 3 months???? all the same!

On the trust of Rick, I ordered the Body-Kit and the HKS Exhaust and pay once again more than 2000$

He promised this the product to me to if Dezmeber ends in 2010 with me is.

At the beginning of January, 2011 the contact with him became less and less.
He shifted constantly the delivery appointment.

At the beginning of February he wrote to me now, finally, everything it would be there and he now sent.

I meant OK: here in Germany is winter, I can wait a little bit longer and ordered me the Venaci Spirits, he was glad.
Also wanted to have like money.
However, I have not made this because I had from my previous orders nothing there.

Now I write Him weekly a PN and get always the same answer:

I've recently looked VIP up on there and they are not recommended at all. They have just about the worst rating you could have on there.

FWIW, Jamaica, unless you are associated with VIP, I would keep out of this because as it is, your name is being dragged through the mud on Rick's behalf too. You're standing up and speaking for someone who is, in the simplest meaning of the word, scamming people out of their money.

There's no excuse, you guys need to get together and sue him already. Fu**sticks like that don't react until there's a real monetary consequence. With all the wheels available from reputable companies, why order from VIP with the history they have? I for one will not be ordering anything from them ever. In sight of current events, I would advice anyone else to do the same.

I compiled everyone's latest status for the month of April in the quote below. It is now close to the end of May... if you want to know their status now, go to my350z and read the VIP Status thread starting on page 28 for the latest info.

We're fortunate enough to have Chebosto a local forum member to help out and ask for everyone's behalf about their update/refund/wheel status this evening b/c he's having dinner with Rick tonight.

John Q, it maybe too late but if you have an account over there PM Chebosto your full real name and your order date and what wheels you bought from them so he can get an update on your order.

My question to the op is did you make full payment for the wheels? The vendor has a real incentive to get the wheels out to you if you pay 50% now and 50% when the wheels leave the stores warehouse. I bought some Japanese wheels recently. I don't doubt Rick will get the wheels to you, but is it another month or another year.

Ive made a 50-50% payment to Rick, until recently Rick said the wheels are with him and is ready to shipped them out.. so i paid the other half which now makes a full payment.... But for nearly 2 weeks now there's no word from Rick.... He told me the shipping company has picked it up on the 12th of May.... but no tracking number so Far!!!

This is getting ridiculous!!! & i feel that ive been robbed!! Usually Wheels are made to order within 3 months even if its coming from Japan!! I've bought quite a no of custom wheels from Japan & even from the US & never did i experience this kind of dilemma..

Cant the admin do something about this? I mean this problem will never end & it'll bring up this kind of threads over & over again.. Its nearly 1 year of waiting now!! With this range of period even my cats have grandchildren.... Send the wheels already Rick!!! Common!!! Ur better than this!!! Its a shame that a once reputable vendor make this kind of silly mistakes that people will keep in mind forever!!

Just found it and read it, F@CK man. It was started 2 weeks before i placed my order. Granted I haven't been waiting nearly as long as you guys, but now i'm worried :confused:

I was planning to change my wheels few months back and pm'd VIP and other vendors but after talking to few members on the forum went with ravespec they also bring Work wheels and already have the wheels and totally happy with them.

I have been waiting since Nov 14 2010 for wheels and the deadline was suppose to be 2 months,well 3 promised dates pasted,now he says he has my wheels BUT they are at the machine shop getting the TPMS hole drilled in the wheel(I thought they came drilled from Venaci)that was on Thursday last week and I haven't been able to get in touch with him since to nail down a date when they will be shipped.
He told me he would give me a refund but I want to see what date he nails down for me to get them,then I will make my decision.

Yeah, all this needs to stop. Hopefully this thread stays open and we could all get our issues resolved.
