Haha I know, I'm a ginger, those things happen lol. I broke it playing flag football lol. Since I like to be active but need to be healthy for work I figured it was a safe idea. Looks like I was wrong, now I have a cast on my left hand for 6 weeks:shakes head:. Maybe I should join a softball league instead.

I heard from Rick yesterday and he told me I should have my wheels by next week.

Haha, you would think softball would be ok...but ive gotten pretty banged up.

I was going to slide into home plate, but pulled my hamstring, fell to my knees, scraped up both knees badly, but still scored! I also developed some sort of tendinitis in my elbow, but that stemmed from going to the gym.

In another competitive league, where a lot of semi-pro guys play, they hit HARD! Playing infield is dangerous no matter what position. I took one off my wrist playing 2nd and bruised that for a few days.

My Wheel Updates: All my Stuff are currently in Singapore waiting for the next 2hr flight to Brunei Wednesday afternoon... Since Friday is a weekend here in Brunei, looking forward to receive them by Saturday or earliest by Thursday evening after custom clearance... Hope all items are in place safe and secured!!

I was e-mailed again yesterday that my centers will be here next Thursday. Once those arrive he said they will be shipping me my wheels a few days after. I guess that means the rest of the parts for my wheels are there? Does VIP actually assemble the wheel? Either way, it's nice to finally see some communication. I actually received my last e-mail without sending one out first so that was impressive lol.

It's not that impressive when you have sent a ton of emails before and have to make this thread,I got an update too but I'll wait till I see my wheels & tires safe at my house.:rolleyes:

No, not at all. I like to get sarcastic from time to time. It was just the first time Rick said he would e-mail me on a certain date and actually did without me having to call every hour.

Finally got my hands on the wheels.. but a bit disappointed with the rear offset... wasnt exactly what i wanted as discussed earlier with Rick... Lack of 20mm lip size for the rear.. I dunno if 20mm is just a small matter to you guys, but that 20mm difference was the reason why i go for custom wheels.... :ugh2:

Condition of boxes when it arrived.. All were in good condition but expected the wheels to be in WORK boxes with the Specs of the wheels by the side of the box but HRE boxes were used for the rear wheels instead... & the boxes for the fronts...... [Next Pic]

Wheels Condition: Excellent... but the blue protection wrapper around the rims wasnt anywhere to be found... maybe its because they had to mount the tires, which i never request them to mount for me...

Thanks to Rick (VIP Status) and Ken (West Consolidators Inc) to ship it just in time for my red Zeds 2nd Birthday this Friday... But overall satisfied with the fronts but not on the rears... Rick, please respond to my PM... i wanna talk about the rears.....

Will try to mount the wheels on the Z tomorrow to see if it fits perfectly or not.....

Those look nice bro. I'm happy you finally received your wheels. I hate to say that you could have gotten those from Ravspec in 10-12 weeks. I thought everyone was waiting for Venaci wheels. There are many other vendors on this forum who can get you Work Wheels.

I hope the rest of you get your wheels soon. Especially you Frank.

If you got the same specs as me then that looks correct. Also have to consider that the face takes up 20mm off the lip since its bolted on the outside.

Not to cause any trouble, but the spec on the box is not your wheel. To find the spec, look inside the wheel barrel. Should be stamped or label in there with wheel specs. If not, u will need to measure the back spacing to find out the offset. So don't go by the spec on the box. He may have given u the right spec.

When my friend received his wheels they had the wrong offset too from what he ordered :confused:

Yup, i did ask Rick to follow your setup... According to what you've stated in your thread last year your lip size is 2 3/4" (70mm) Fronts and 4 3/4" (120mm) Rear...

I will measure the lip size again tomorrow accurately with a tape and will update back the exact measurements... what i did just now was approximating the lip size with an iphone and measured it was somewhere at 100mm for the rears.. Hope i got the wrong approximation...

Will be ordering a set from him soon....

hey guys just as i was writing my previous post. Rick calls me and tells me my wheels will be in next week thur or fri(6/16,6/17). its not assembled yet, so he has to assemble them and send them out for powdecoating for a few more days into the next week. and the wheels should be ready with tires and all between the 20th and 24th according to him. we'll see what happens. ill keep ya guys posted.
