Get them powder coated you can find a shop rite here on LI to do it for around 400.

well its costing me $120 a wheel to get them painted/mounted, and they said they would touch them up or powdercoat them if the paint didn't last.
I went with paint for a couple reasons. The wheels im painting came with painted black faces from the factory, and the shop said the oven could melt the paint of the face (i just want the lips painted). reason 2 it was cheaper by $120 reason 3, it's easier/cheaper to change if I decide I don't like it. reason 4, more color selection overall, i guess i couldve shopped around a little more and gotten a better price, but the shop does awesome work, and they said theyll redu em free of charge if they start chipping. wheels will be ready tomorrow.....
