Tire size for my wheels...
I have on order the 19'' Forgestar F14's and need some advice for which tire size to go with. I'm getting the 19x9 +20 for the front and 19x11 +23 for the rear. I have been recommended 295/30/19 for the rear and 255/35/19 for the front. What do you guys think? I do want a wide tire for an aggressive look, but not so wide that it comes way out past the fenders.

255 front 305 rear should look good. and my tires sit about 14mm more out than yours would. Look at my forged specialties sc 5s thread to get an idea of the rear. Keep in mind I am not lowered and the camber isnt set right. So mine shoudl be sitting more flush with the fender than in the pictures.

I did 315 on the forgestar rear 11" and it was pretty flush looking. I wouldn't go any wider on the rear given your relatively small front tire/wheel. There is no chance of rubbing until you try and jam a 335 or 345 back there.

So would a 305 or 315 be better for my rear wheels? I started out at 295, but I'm wanting it to be as close to flush as you can get and from everyone is saying I'm gonna do at least a 305. As for the front, would 255 or 265 be best? I'm guessing that if I ran a 305 on the rear, that 255 would be best...and if I did a 315 on the rear, that 265 would be best. Am I thinking about this right?
Thanks for your help guys. |

a 305/30 is smaller than your oem 275/35/19. a 315 is closer in size. But you should also take a look at what tires are availabine in the different sizes and what prices they are.
Main reason i didnt go 335 for my rear wheel is that the 335 is 580$ and the 325 is 325$ |

I was told you couldn't go bigger than 245/265 on the stock 18's. Wouldn't it be easier to use a spacer to get the right look than trying to do it all with the tire?
