STOLEN Forgestar f14

Does anybody know any rim companies that have rims already in stock, no wait period, ready to ship for under 800 dollars. Some stupid dicks decided to steal my forgestars and leave my baby sittin on her rotors. My insurance will replace the F14's but i know they will probably take a good 2months to arrive and i cannot have my baby sitting in the shop for that long, because my insurance will not cover rental car. If any body knows any cheap rims, with no wait time, that can hold me over until my real rims arrive let me know please. Im located in maryland if that matters at all.

I guess i will just look into getting some used stock rims. Thanks

kenchan 05-10-2011 09:25 AM

sucks. :(

if you decide to just keep the stock wheels tell your insurance to get you a new set with new tires new TPMS, dont settle for used. :)

Red__Zed 05-10-2011 10:25 AM

I don't think you will find FS in stock anywhere. They're like 6 weeks behind on production

tjlazer 05-10-2011 10:53 AM

You could get a set of cheap 350Z wheels too...

SPOHN 05-10-2011 10:59 AM

Where was your car at when your wheels got jacked?

I know these rims will take a long time to arrive. Whatever forgestars tells me the delivery date is, so i guess ill just assume its going to be double the time. There customer service sucks, but they are nice rims for the price

Took a date to the movies so i parked in a mall parking lot where supposedly there are cameras and security on duty 24/7. Come back out an hour later and my baby is sittin on her rotors.

tsolin01 05-10-2011 12:03 PM

Holy sh!t your rims got jacked in a movie theater parking lot? Someone had to have seen it happen...

tonybui 05-10-2011 05:07 PM

Where was that? So I can take cautions for the future !!

tjlazer 05-10-2011 05:38 PM

Prince George County, MD. Stay away from there. lol

XwChriswX 05-10-2011 05:47 PM

There was no damage to the Rotors since I'm sure they didn't take care to gently lower it back down right?

Hopefully you won't have a wobble when you get your wheels replaced... :ugh2:

kenchan 05-10-2011 06:55 PM

Yah wonder how they got their jack out of the way...:ugh2:

SPOHN 05-10-2011 07:48 PM

This world is going to hell! Hop aboard.

hdskull 05-10-2011 08:35 PM

THAT SUCKS!!!!

How does the process work with aftermarket wheels and insurance? Do they always replace them? (accident/theft)

chuckd05 05-10-2011 09:33 PM

you should of said you had the OEM wheels as even the 18s MSRP is prob more expensive than the forgestars

My insuance is going letting me replace my rims for a set of equal or lesser price. Then they are fixing whatever other damages that occured to my car minus my 1000 deductable.

You are right, that thought never crossed my mind. My insurance is letting me pick whatever tire i would like though so im going to try and find the most expensive tire possible lol since they wont fund me a rental car while my car is in the shop

hdskull 05-11-2011 12:34 AM

How do they know what you had before?

Insurance replaced one of my Nismo rims, and they paid like over 1k. :O

Out of curiosity --- did you have wheel locks? If so, then what type?

'10Anamoly 05-11-2011 10:08 AM

Watch Craigslist as they usually post the stolen rims there for sale, often with poor grammar and stock pics of the rims. We caught the guys who tried to sell my rims after they were stolen by setting up a sting. It's worth the effort, very gratifying. :)

Zerafian 05-11-2011 10:41 AM

I woulda said they stole your stock rims...the dealership probably makes them with $1k a piece LOL.

Seriously though, Iam sorry to hear about that. I can only imagine how I would have cried if that happened to my Z.
