Scubasteve 05-06-2011 11:29 PM

jaedub 05-06-2011 11:39 PM

If anything, it shouldnt look bad. Give it a go

zmany 05-06-2011 11:41 PM

Its hard to commit to it because not many Zs have white on white but in my mind it looks great let hope it comes out that way, will post pics!

Scubasteve 05-06-2011 11:53 PM

im anxious now haha i wanna see how it turns out cuz i might have to get my rims repaired and painted

Lemers 05-06-2011 11:58 PM

Your car your style. Not my cup though.

Highway 05-07-2011 12:02 AM

I love the white on white look. I plan on eventually doing it with mine.

Here's a friend's NSX that is my inspiration....

zmany 05-07-2011 12:07 AM

I dont have the sport package rims just the lower end stalk ones, but i think they should look okay.

EazyD 05-07-2011 12:08 AM

How fast will white wheels get dirty/brake dusty? I think I wouldn't because of that

Econ 05-07-2011 12:09 AM

i saw a triple white z...white car, white wheels, and the grey/white interior, looked hot

zmany 05-07-2011 12:11 AM

yeah I have the lights, emblem, and the letters blacked out so the white and black look is what I was going for...

Waiz 05-07-2011 12:37 AM

I really hope you don't mean the stock wheels.

I don't mind black stock wheels but not a fan of any other color, it just makes you look cheap.

Mr&Mrs 05-07-2011 12:45 AM

Here is a link to a forum members album with white on white, it looks great.

I don't think you needed to make multiple threads on the subject.

A simple search would have yielded you this:

Waiz 05-07-2011 12:52 AM

Damn OP, three threads? Really? :shakes head:

+1

OP, this is not how you get answers from a forum.

Create 1 thread and bump it for answers or use the search button!

Baer383 05-07-2011 07:10 AM

I thought judging by the title it was going to be a racist thread.:inoutroflpuke:

PapoZalsa 05-07-2011 12:05 PM

White on white looks nice, but remember the different types and shades of white...

SoCal 370Z 05-07-2011 12:07 PM

I like to see a PW with PW colored rims.

SE 05-07-2011 01:31 PM

Not a 370Z, but here's our STi shop vehicle with white on white :)

Red__Zed 05-07-2011 01:55 PM

I never really thought the Z looked good white on white, but that may just be me.

Also, keep in mind white rims are a huge PITA to keep clean.

White on white?

SPOHN 05-07-2011 03:27 PM

I think it would look better the other way around. Black wheels and white calipers.

+1 Painted stocks other than black makes you look like a poser

CWofRR 05-07-2011 08:01 PM

White wheels will get dirty way too easily lol

Zerafian 05-08-2011 07:13 PM

It can be done tastefully...with aftermarket rims and depending on the color of your Z.

I would stick with black if your going to powdercoat them any color.

white wheels would look nice if you paired them up with a 180 Customs job on your headlights... Get the housing done in white (color coded) and the projector shroud and turn signal shroud in matte black. Or maybe even the opposite: black housing, white shrouds. I think if you were to paint the wheels white you have to do the lights... They compliment and round each other out... Stock wheels = shiny... Headlights = shiny... If you change the wheel color it would look off without something else to bring the theme together.

It's a bad idea.
