It can be done tastefully...with aftermarket rims and depending on the color of your Z. I would stick with black if your going to powdercoat them any color.

white wheels would look nice if you paired them up with a 180 Customs job on your headlights... Get the housing done in white (color coded) and the projector shroud and turn signal shroud in matte black. Or maybe even the opposite: black housing, white shrouds. I think if you were to paint the wheels white you have to do the lights... They compliment and round each other out... Stock wheels = shiny... Headlights = shiny... If you change the wheel color it would look off without something else to bring the theme together.
