for most people i think they will appreciate the polished lug bores (if you want to call it that) cause they dont have the right sockets with plastic protectors and will scratch/chip them anyways.
also for race situations wheels are swapped frequently its just a pita worring about chipping your wheels i guess...(?) |
For it's price and design id rather get the rpf01's!
Definetly not feeling that polished center... |

I like those sizes though. I want some 18x 10/11's. How much are these gonna run? |

i'd love these in gold.. in 19's... :yum:
but I could handle 18s |
The polished center definitely throws them off a bit but I like the overall design. I'm really digging the small GTR wheels with the beefy race tires.

Wheels look okay....

Glad to see advan step past the 10.5 width and into the 11. I would prefer to keep 19s on my 370z. If they release this in a 19x11 i will sell my played out TE37 overnight. I would consider an 18 if they did a 12", but my idea of perfect would be a 19x12 :)
my gold TCIIs on my 350z. By far the lightest wheels I have ever had the honor to hold. You can hold them with one hand and fan them around in the air they are so light. the compliments i got on these wheels were ENDLESS, and pictures just dont do them justice, as im sure the pics of those TCIIIs do not. Those of you complaining about the unpainted hubs... RELAX! besides, my TE37SLs are the same way and it bothers me a lot, never once bothered me on my TCIIs, maybe because the plugs where there for the hollow spokes. (TCII were hollow spokes, in the hub was a rubber blue cap for each spoke, if removed you could stick your finger in the spokes or hide drugs in there, which is what made them so light, unless you had lot of drugs in there). http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1300/...1294e6fe_b.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4011/...6444ebc3_b.jpg http://cj-motorsports.com/img/projects/status350z.jpg |

and yea I don't think people realize how great Advans are at times, especially the TCIIs. I hear the TCIII will also have hollow spokes too but I didn't the see the same bore hole as the TCII so unless the bore is integrated some other way idk how they'd be hollow. And I'm already surprised they got 18x11, getting wide one piece cast wheels is quite an engineering feat. |

TCIII would definately be perfect for my 370z after having had the TCII on my 350z. A pair of sequels for me. it looks like the TCIII may just use a very thin spoke to accomplish low weight rather than hollow |
Unpainted hubs don't annoy me, but the unpainted surface area on the TCIII is much, MUCH greater than the TE37SL.
Not that I care, I have the SLs and I like them like that. And I got to admit...that GT-R looks ridiculously good like that. I miss the days of good sized wheels and meaty tires haha |
