Wheel sizing check
Looking for some new wheels and I think I'll be going with 19" Drag DR-37's. Both show 20mm offset. 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. Tires will be 255/40 front and 285/35 rear and are just a squidge over stock size (have 18's on a base Z), so shouldn't impact speedo. Anyone see an issue with anything? What would be a good spacer size to try? I'd like the wheels about flush, not outside. No drop. Any other wheels have this look that would be better (I haven't seen any of these in pics)?

So no one thinks those tires will be too wide for those rims?
|
Would 9.5" and 11" be a better fit for those tires? (255/285) Or too big? Reason I ask is these Avant Garde M310 have a similar design to the DR-37 but more dished (which I like better) but only come in those two widths for 5-114.3. Offset is similar to DR-37 it seems?
Thanks for any replies. |
265/35/19 and 285/35/19

Guess I'll go with the M310's. Hoping no problems with matching a 255F/285R tires to 9.5"F/11"R wheels.
Anyone have experience with getyourwheels.com? Thanks for the replies. |
Eric @ getyourwheels was very helpful and always answered all my pm's about the wheel and tires i wanted. Service was great from before i ordered until the wheels were at my door.
hope this helps |
brandon- have you checked out the TSW Nurbrings RF? for cheap wheels that are actually lightweight and track worthy, get those. :) they come in 19x9 ET32 and 19x10.5 ET27.
for the rear just get a 10mm spacer. be pretty much a perfect setup. |
I do like the Nurburgrings, but I would like them more if they were all silver. That and the dish of the M310's swayed me.
