OP-- now that I'm on a computer I can give a more detailed response.
First off, I'm guessing your goals are mileage and price, rather than performance, since you are looking at the Hankook's and a set of all season tires. I would personally go with a name-brand set of AS tires if that is your goal. There are quite a few options out there, depending on whether you have the 18's or 19's. I would avoid the V12's. I've offered this same explanation of them before-- they offer the feel of an all-season, with the wear of a summer tire. If you are going to deal with the mushy feel of the sidewall, you might as well get some extra treadwear and use from the all-seasons. |

I've used the General Tires on previous cars. Getting them from my friend at wholesale price. I've gotten 2 flats both tires replaced for free. Obv I had to pay to get them mounted but to get a hole in the sidewall and have it replaced under warranty was a nice thing.

I mean, it's just my opinion, so no need for it to be taken as gospel. I feel like the V12's don't really make any sense to purchase, but that's just me. They may be the right tire for someone. I feel like they've gotten a good rep because there are a lot of people that are attempting to justify their purchase decision. Like most car mods, there is a lot of cognitive dissonance amongst purchasers. I think you will find that most people that buy them and actually drive their cars may give them positive reviews, but won't buy them again. |

I'll be getting about 20K out of my rear V12's, and thats with one track day. I should get around 30K from my fronts. I think that's pretty damn good considering their costs. Yeah, the soft sidewall sucks, but it isn't a big deal for a DD. Traction wise they are more than competent. That said, if I didn't have a set of dedicated wheels for the track, I would of gotten the Pilot SS's to replace these.

thanks for all the replies as i purchased some v12's and had them put on this past weekend. I like them at this moment, they are quieter then the yoks on the 18's i had. Depending on if I purchased a dd later this year or keep my Z as a dd i was going to look into a good as tire for more tire wear without a huge loss in performance so i was just getting peoples thought on these new tires.
As for Flashburn, you are a lucky man to be gettin gthat kind of wear out of your tires, here the concrete freeways with their flex lines if you want to call them that chew through tires. I think I will be lucky to get 15 out of mine maybe 16-17 on the fronts. Thanks all for the input, thats all i was asking for.
