I have a Touring no sports model so it doesn't come with the sport package. Would there be a problem with 19" rims without the sport brakes? Will my braking

Going from 18" to 19"
I have a Touring no sports model so it doesn't come with the sport package. Would there be a problem with 19" rims without the sport brakes? Will my braking distance be reduce significantly? I want to make sure changing into the 19" is fine before I try anything.
