damn lol the guy who sold them probably didnt even realize... such a clean break he probably looked at them and thought "i coulda swore they had a hubcentric ring, oh well"... meanwhile the broken off part is probably still sitting in his wheels in the garage

flashburn 04-25-2011 06:25 PM

Yeah, I've taken off my wheels twice before this, and I never noticed. I only noticed this time because I removed my spacers to try my track wheels out. I had my rear wheels off too, so I was easily able to compare what they were supposed to look like.

I just feel stupid, since I've been driving around with this awful vibration for like 6 months or something, even got my wheels rebalanced to try to fix it, and it's been the spacers fault.

Good news is, this means I'll be sticking with my Hankook's instead of going with the DW's, since my rear's are almost bald and my front's are only at about 5/32". This whole time I was thinking it was the tires to blame.

Yah, those lips are a critical part for our stock wheels. At least you saved a good chunk of change for tires. :D

how much do you want for the broken ones?

flashburn 04-26-2011 07:23 AM

$50 shipped? Do you need the replacement bolts too? I have the brand new ones from my replacements.

kenchan 04-26-2011 10:42 AM

in for longer studs if phunk doesn't need them. :p

phunk 04-26-2011 11:50 AM

These are the ones that come with extended studs right? Rather than the type that use a second set of studs and lugs? If so, I'll take them and I already have ARP extended wheel studs so i don't need the new ones. I was gonna make my own spacers from scratch, but I can save time just using those and machining out the centers and making some steel hub ring inserts. What's your paypal address

sounds interesting! there will need to be a step inside to accomondate the stock hub for stability... you can do this at your shop? if so you should consider selling steel centering rings for Kics and Ichiba's. :)

Yeah, they are the DRS model. - for Paypal. I probably won't be able to ship them out until next Monday due to work and preparing for a track weekend.

Yep, that's the one, the studs are for the 15MM spacer.

How does $20 shipped sound? They cost $4 each directly from H&R, plus shipping.
