check out Vossen wheels. They may be a bit more Expensive but they have a nice selection. I think alot of ppl are waiting for the CV3's to come out but i love my CV2's :)

Jjaden 04-14-2011 04:07 PM

If you're are considering Volks TE37's I can sell you the rear's for a good deal. Then you would only have to find yourself 2 fronts...

isteppedindun 04-14-2011 06:10 PM

Alchemy 04-14-2011 07:05 PM

isteppedindun 04-14-2011 11:31 PM

Nice wheel what size are you going with? semi concave or deep concave? can you run 245/45-19 front, 275/40-19 rear on these?

PM RavSpec....They have a huge showroom, great prices and quick delivery on their wheels. I got my wheels from them and was very satisfied.

for your budget forgestars are a great call.

I went with 19x9 front and 19x11 rear. Front wheels reg concave and rear wheels deep concave. Yea you can put those tyres on them. I went with 255/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear. I also ordered the wheels in the "bronze burst" colorway :)

Me neither, especially cause my rear tyres r destroyed and I cant drive my Z till my rim/tyre package shows up! Itll all be worth it though, the wheels r gonna b sick

Fern to the Z 04-16-2011 01:16 PM

Alchemy,
My car is stock, you think I can run 255/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear with out needing spacers or any other modification? In fact what is the best wheel/size combo one can do with the cars stock suspension/springs for performance / aesthetic purposes? all opinions welcome,

Fern im not positive but I think u should be able to put those tyres on there no prob. I know some people put 305's on the stock rear rays.

Fern to the Z 04-16-2011 04:14 PM

So stock no drop or any other mods If i go
20x9+20x11, I can run tire sizes 245-35-20+285-30-20 without any problem right?
I heard I can go 255-30-20+305-25-20 but i think that's pushing it.

by mods i mean spacer, springs, or coil overs

I'm running 255/35/20 and 305/30/20 on a x9 and x10.5 u could run 315 on a x11 :)

U shouldnt have a prob but you will wanna research what offset you will need on those rims for the right fitment. With the right offset there will b no probs fittin any of those tyre sizes.

isteppedindun 04-16-2011 06:49 PM

looks like ill most likely be getting the f14s now to find the right offset for 20"s

Why 20's?

isteppedindun 04-16-2011 09:10 PM

more show then go is my plan on this car

Fern to the Z 04-17-2011 02:05 AM

If i want more performance than aesthetics (or go) would 19's be a better option than the 20's?

19's will out perform 20's and 18's out perform 19's. For all out performance go 18, for all out looks go 20 and for a mix of both go 19.

Fern to the Z 04-17-2011 10:49 AM

Thanks Alchemy 19's it is, with the right tire I can get the look on 19's and not sacrifice on performance, I would love 20's but my Z is my daily driver so I always take performance into consideration.

I would have loved to get 18's but they just look too small. Im all about performance, but I just had to sacrifice a bit and go 19. Do you ever plan on lowering? If so make sure you take that into consideration when deciding upon offsets.

Fern to the Z 04-17-2011 11:32 AM

Going with the F.I. TDX CBE with CF mufflers, since the mufflers sit pretty low definitely not planning on lowering.

isteppedindun 04-17-2011 01:11 PM

yeah i plan on getting swifts once i move back to texas so i have considered that into the right offsets

Fern to the Z 04-17-2011 06:45 PM

Forged wheels are expensive, might take me a while to save up and buy them, but while save, I will continue to research if going with 19x9+19x11
what is the optimal tire size combo (front/back) to go with, 255-35-19+285-35-19 sound right?

Those sizes work. Id go bigger on the rear though, 295 or 305 :)

Fern to the Z 04-18-2011 07:34 AM

alchemy whats the biggest tire i can run in a 19 X 9? can i go 275/35/19? if so then I'll go 305/35/19 on the rear.

onefastz 05-20-2011 10:53 PM

I'm also wondering the same thing. I've got the Forgestars on order in 19x9 and 19x11. I've decided on 305/30/19 for the rear, and am stuck between 255/35/19 and 265/30/19 for the fronts, can't decide!

Alchemy 05-20-2011 11:31 PM

Either should work, I went 255.

Would 305 on the rear and 255 on the front be proportional or would it look weird

Alchemy 05-21-2011 12:27 AM

Might look a little better w 265's. If your going big w 305 in rear might as well go 265 front

Just sucks that the Hankook V12's don't come in a 265/35/19

They have 265/30/19 &305/30/19. Nothing wrong w those.

Fern to the Z 05-21-2011 12:39 PM

I decided to stick with 265/35/19 F + 285/35/19 R, as far as my wheel I went with 19 X 9.5 F + 19 X 10.5 R. I was also aware that the V12's didn't come in the 265/35/19, so If available i'm going with the Michelins PSS's.
