RE050A Run flats rears for $250....Would you?

I have a friend that will sell me some almost new RE050A RFs for $250.

Should I mount these? Aren't they heavier than the standard version?

THanks,
Ryan

yes they are much heavier

They're heavier. Pretty cheap though.

Well if I mount those in the rear and just standard Re050s for the front I'm only looking at a 8lb difference in weight.

Yes. I'm not going to be tracking the car. Maybe the occasional SCCA meet but thats it.

yah, i'd get them. i go through these RE050's in 8-9K miles so it's only temporary anyways. :)

How's the tire noise factor on these pups?

cossie1600 04-08-2011 12:42 PM

My friend had run flats and went to a track day in his corvette.. he said the grip sucked... he changed them out a couple weeks later.
