Drag radials for stock sports wheels?
Hey fellas, just searched around a bit and was not able to find anyone who makes drag radials for 19's. Is there any dr's that will fit on the stock 19's? BTW I'm running 20mm spacers with the sports wheels and look to drag the car every weekend or so.
Any help with tire brand and sizes would help me alot.. Thanks in advance.. |

Nitto makes the NT05R drag radial in 19" but not in a size that would fit the Z sport wheels.
Your best bet would be to get a set of 18s for track use... You have a lot more options in that size.

I googled this and that's what I found also. Supposedly on the Vette forums they said that Nitto would be making sizes for the 19s and 20s .... But I can't seem to find a source that sells them.. Anyone else care to chime in? What about the stock infiniti double spoke G35 wheels. Will that work? What size tire will do if I run that setup with my 20mm spacer and keep the fronts the stock 19 sports just for the track ? |

If you have a Base model, I'd suggest finding some 17" wheels. If you have sport brakes, I just bought a set of 18" x 10" Saleen replica wheels. You can find them brand new for about $150/wheel.

If it's just for drag, and you're buying a specific set for dragging, you might even consider snagging a wide set of 16's or 17's for the rear. |

I'm not sure what you are referring too. The stock 18s and the Saleen replica wheels are not forged. They are also a different bolt pattern than what's used on a Corvette, so they wont fit on a Corvette.

I'm only looking to get a pair for the rears. I have a base with sports package so what's the smallest or should I say best fit rim for the rear a 16,17 or 18 inch wheel? Of course I want the beefiest tire on there but I want no fitment. Guys please help me out.... Is the 17 the smallest I can go? And what's the widest/best option for the rear while running the stock 19 inch fronts.. Slick/DRs sizes too would help... Thanks +rep for those who help! |

I think it will also depend on the specific wheels you are looking at. |

I'll be using a Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial II, 305/35/18 on a 10" +27 offset rim.
Let you know how it works out this summer

So will these fit?
As stated my buddy is going to sell me his rears from his '01 Vette (non Z06). Does the bolt pattern of these will wheels match up with the Z?
The size that it says is: 18x9.5 with an offset of 65mm. Will I need to keep my 20mm space on to run this or can I run it without the spacer? Please let me know before I buy some tires. |
