i am not an expert on spacer, but it seems wrong to me since 45mm sticks out more than 25mm. wouldnt adding a 20mm spacer to the 25mm wheel make it stick out to 45?

if i am wrong, get 4 45mm wheel and use the 20mm spacer in the back

You can fit them up front with no spacer though. They'll be fairly aggressive though.

Yeah, but the lug's have been replaced for these spacers, so I'm not going to swap out my lugs every time I swap wheels.

Basically, offset is the spacing from the center of the wheel to where it mounts. A zero offset wheel mounts at the middle. Positive offsets move the middle of the wheel farther in, spacers move it farther out.

Just run open ended lugs, and keep the longer studs in.

So things will work fine if I get 4 18" Base Rear wheels. I just need to get open ended lugs, and remove the spacers for the front wheels when I'm using them. Then for the rears I shouldn't need to do anything?

I did find I could order those Konig's and the Kumho tires from DiscountTireDirect.com special order, says 10-14 days, free mounting and balancing, $1600 before $100 back. So I guess that's also an option.

I need to decide on whether I feel like paying less, having to sell 2 base wheels, or paying more and having a complete set.

For the purpose of looks, you'd probably run spacers in the rear, though that is up to you. A 9" rim in a +15 offset is very aggressive for the front, but fairly weak in the rear.

Hmm okay. Now I need to decide... buy the extra set of rears, or get the Konig's.

I think I might just get the Konig's, after all is said and done, the price difference will be negligible and I can run 275/35's.

Only thing I'm not sure about is tires, DiscountTireDirect doesn't have the RE-11's in 275/35, and those Kumho XS's don't sound like they will be any good for a rainy track day, and being in Florida, I'm definitely going to have some. I checked out the Star Spec's, but DiscountTireDirect doesn't carry those either.

If I get the Konig's, should I just run 25mm offsets all around, and keep the spacers on? Will I have any issues clearing the Sport brakes?

Ideally, this is the size you want to run

F: 18x9.5 45mm front
R: 18x9.5 25mm rear.

275/35/18 is probably the best compromise size. XS is like $60 cheaper in that size each than their competition, keep that in mind if you want to keep your budget low.

You can either buy two of each and call it a day or buy all four the same thing and get a 20mm spacer. To be honest, I don't know spacers all that well. Find out if you need 4 25mm or 45mm offset wheel with the 20mm spacer you have. All I know is that you definitely can't use 25mm offset. 40-45mm for sure in the front.

Sorry I have never used spacers, but I do have way too much invested in tires and rims and track stuff...

Let me know how the Konigs are too, I want to get a set of those for some RA1s

I forget the offset, but they will work perfect for my setup, just need to remove my front spacers. He was running the same setup as me. They include open ended lugs too.
