I'm lost too.. This is not ups . Did they open the wheels and scratch the chrome? Did they open the wheels and drag them across the concrete? Did they open the wheels and leave a god awful spray on the finish? Did they open the wheels try to fix the finish and fail? Did they package the wheels horribly so they can be damaged during shipping? Seriously a ups issue??

I am not going to argue back and forth and you are convinced since you had someone talk bad about the company that you didnt want the wheels. Why would we drag wheels across the floor?
And honestly by your comments, sure sounds like your throwing me under the bus contradicting everything I am saying. You want to stick to what you believe happened, so frankly what can I do about that. LIke I told you on the phone at 2 AM, yes guys 2 am I answered my phone to address the issue. The owner will contact you and resolve it, he never left anyone hanging from what ive seen so I am sure he will get it done. This I am sorry, is not a public issue, and if you wanted it resolved this is the wrong way to go about it. I have been helping you as well as the company, problems have happened and you go on a forum and bash me? I doubt I will post anymore in this thread, b/c this is a private issue that we can either fix or we can talk about it on these forums and look at the damaged wheels. |

And this is how companies get a bad rep. So first its bad finish and then poor packaging that I assume was done at Forged Specialties. I understand why Chris is upset, its not necessarily his fault, but I'm sure he's getting some heat because he is the one pushing this product in the end. They look bad and he looks bad for selling them.
What's with the trend of wheel startups that turn to shitty quality? BTW....are those nuts and bolts holding your wheels together?? |

Rcz, honestly I am just upset that all this does is make a company look bad. I mean its not like I ignored you. The quality on the wheels is great, ask jeff per say, or zzz370. If their is an issue I understand it, but its an issue between the company and the customer, not the world.
Instead of trying to fix this now, I have to continually come on here and defend myself and the company b/c an issue occurs. Their are lots of wheel companies out there that have had issues, but they were resolved with the customer and I hope never taken lightly. I am a firm believer that problems can occur, but as long as they are resolved thats what matters. |

Were the rims shipped from Wheelsdirect, and damaged between leaving wheelsdirect and arriving at the customer? If so, I would think wheelsdirect should make this situation right and make the claim with the shipping company's insurance.

I will NEVER do that, I sold the product and its my responsibility. Its just not how it works, you sell a product and you stand behind it. I truly believe that the company took the steps to fix it, and no one dragged a wheel across the floor.
I saw the wheels myself before they left and they were not damaged. Honestly, the only thing I see here that doesnt make sense is that tiny scratch on the rear of the wheel. Does this wheel look like it was dragged across the floor? THis is his wheel before leaving with perfect chrome lip? Last edited by Chris_1; 03-15-2011 at 01:41 PM. |

usually people put up a thread like this when they were in some way screwed over...they are fixing the issue for u..u complain about this and that and they continue to help you and put up with it...this is a personal matter and this is an attention thread..

Their will be no he said, she said, this will be resolved and Blaine will be happy. I dont do this to screw people over. I have always talked to Blaine, and this problem will be resolved and hopefully people understand that these are growing pains, but at least their sticking to it and I am working with them to resolve it. Blaine message me with the wheels that need to have new lips, so I can file with ups for the claims and get this resolved.
