My first set of tires wore very evenly, so I agree with you guys who say this contact patch is a-OK. Maybe the track days helped wear the outer portions of the tire more evenly. I was going to get the same as the Hankooks...255/285. But the RE-11s come in some different profile heights so I instead went with 265/35 and 285/35.
