However, what do you guys think of the stock rear camber? Unless you're cornering, it looks like 10-150% of the tread isn't contacting the ground. You can see the front contact patch is much more even with the stock camber up front.

Can't see much in the way of camber in those pics, so it's hard to say.

Did you check your tire pressures?

your back wheels will have .5-.9 more neg. camber, judging from the dirt pattern on the rear tires I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, dirt pattern is what I was using as implied camber indicator. Tire pressures are 35psi currently.

camber looks completely acceptable. If the 370z stock camber is anything like the 350 your gonna be around -1.1 to -1.6

This is normal. This is why tire manufacturers started making more asymetrical tires with reinforced inner tread belts to sustain proper posture while going straight. Think of these tires having two work modes..one for straight, one for cornering. (+wet/dry)

Got the RE-11's already Alex, lol how do you like them compared to the hankooks? The Z already has negative camber to begin with, are you lowered?

I'm at stock height. Only suspension and wheel changes are the Hotchkis sways and H&R spacers. Too soon to say about the RE-11s. They're definitely more noisy than the Hankooks. I'll have a better idea about them after my highway run to work tomorrow.

I'm sure you know that the H&R spacers will add a little - camber

What size tires did you go with?

Sure. I had the same 'dust pattern' on the tread of my RE050As BEFORE spacers though. So I think the spacer impact on camber is pretty minimal.

My first set of tires wore very evenly, so I agree with you guys who say this contact patch is a-OK. Maybe the track days helped wear the outer portions of the tire more evenly.

I was going to get the same as the Hankooks...255/285. But the RE-11s come in some different profile heights so I instead went with 265/35 and 285/35.

Just do a couple of burnouts and see which tread is new and which is worn.

awww you wimped out, should have gone with the 285 all around! You are fine, front tires will wear out way quicker than the rear anyway.

That looks about just like mine. But I have 265/305 tires. My front and rear camber is -1.3/ -1.6.

Given that I'll be tracking often, I didn't want to go out of spec limits on the front. 285s up front are out of spec on 9.5" rims.
