Wheel spacers
Hey guys, I was thinking of putting some wheel spacers on my Z and was wondering what size I should go with as well as what it would look like before/after. Any pictures and advice would be awesome, thanks!
|
 Really? How about you just enjoy the car first? You don't need spacers for stock wheels.
|
Search for the thread by minicobra. His car looks great with spacers and the stock Sport Package Rays wheels.
The stock offset puts the wheels pretty far under the fenders. A slightly more flush appearance is desireable and a wider stance doesn't hurt. I have spacers, too. Go here: http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...html#post54891 |
Welcome to the forum. Please test out the search function. There are countless threads about wheel spacers, many of them still in the first few pages of the 'wheel and tires' section.
|
i put 20mm on all 4 corners, but please search for pictures. there are tons of them.

On the third day he rose up began to start a new thread, but then used his brain and the search feature. Give it a try, you might like it.

Many people run 15mm up front and 20mm in the rear with stock wheels and stock height. That's what I'm currently running too. Some have run 20mm/25mm. Sometimes, it's subjective on what people think is flush or too aggressive. You'll have to go through some members' pics to decide for yourself. Sorry, I don't have any pics of the car with just spacers before it was lowered to show you.

My mama said "noob is as noob does".

I have pics of before/after 20/25mm but I'm not putting them in your STUPID REPOST THREAD YOU DUMMY
No, but really. There are a lot of threads on this :( |

I think we scared him off, but if he can't take a little teasing/search directions. He would have never made it in the premium section.
|
he only has 4 posts since Jan 2011, so it could be that he's too busy to check up on his question??
|
hmmmmmm, could be

Sorry, it just took me a while to get and my apologies for being a noob. I will search for this stuff thanks.

99% of people on this forum will not notice a change from the increased track. Of the 1% that would notice the difference, the majority don't run them. Most people run spacers for looks alone. You might see a difference on a modded car on the track, but they won't really change anything on the street. |

I tried to istall Ichiba V2 15mm but it didn't fit!! PLz help!! :tiphat: |
James- for the front you need to get the stud replacement type if you want to do 15mm. :)
I was using 20mm built-in type on mine and still had to grind like 1.5mm to fit. |
do 25mm front and rear man.

Has anyone tried the Z1 motorsports spacers?
|
How about 25mm DRM on the rear? Will there be fitment issues?
|
Just to po this thread up and not start another. Any suggestions for spacers on my sport Rays? I'll have the eibach springs with Koni yellows. I want to know will using spacers be a bad idea since I take my car to the drag strip on the weekends.
