you should only be using spacers on stock wheels. If you're going aftermarket, you should be buying the proper offsets...

Nnnnn, not necessarily. Primary use of spacers is for handling to fine tune turnability bias. In that case you'd buy a fairly conservative wheelset and use spacers to dial-in. This is why they sell open lugs in the first place to provide clearance for all sorts of spacer use on longer studs. :)

99% of people on this forum will not notice a change from the increased track. Of the 1% that would notice the difference, the majority don't run them.

Most people run spacers for looks alone. You might see a difference on a modded car on the track, but they won't really change anything on the street.

Hence the proliferation of spacer usage in the motorsports world, right.

Sometimes, it's subjective on what people think is flush or too aggressive. You'll have to go through some members' pics to decide for yourself. Sorry, I don't have any pics of the car with just spacers before it was lowered to show you.

What brand of 15mm spacers u got on the front??
I tried to istall Ichiba V2 15mm but it didn't fit!! PLz help!! :tiphat:

James- for the front you need to get the stud replacement type if you want to do 15mm. :)

I was using 20mm built-in type on mine and still had to grind like 1.5mm to fit.

ilostmypill 03-15-2011 09:12 PM

do 25mm front and rear man.

I have H&R DRS spacers front and back...they're the ones where you have to replace with longer studs that come with the spacers. Just like what Kenchan said, you MUST use the stud replacement ones for the front. The DRM (bolt on ones) will not work up front (without modification). Trouble-free operation.

Has anyone tried the Z1 motorsports spacers?

rjsf 04-23-2014 03:44 PM

How about 25mm DRM on the rear? Will there be fitment issues?

Just to po this thread up and not start another. Any suggestions for spacers on my sport Rays? I'll have the eibach springs with Koni yellows. I want to know will using spacers be a bad idea since I take my car to the drag strip on the weekends.
