Pss

Just purchased a full set of PSS. My "new" HanKook Ventus (less than 3k with 1 track day) will be in the sale thread in the FOR SALE thread soon...

Ordering mine in 2 weeks from tirerack. $855.68 seems like a great deal compared to a few other places i called ($1300 from one shop i forget the name of).
How do you guys like the tires so far? Almost every review I've read says the tires are great on dry surfaces and just as, if not better, in the rain.

That is an amazing price.

I was able to get a quote from onlinetires.com for $750 cash if i were to pick it up myself from their warehouse after my friend referred me to them when he got his tires and i wrote down the name of the salesman and all but my phone was dropped in water 2 weeks afterwards and since i didnt have the guys name anymore, the manager wouldn't lower the price for me and said "its impossible for any of our salesmen to quote that price for you"
I dont blame him for not believing me but man that price would've been better than 855 hahaha.
how's the tire holding up so far? any issues?

I recently purchased a set of factory size replacement Super Sports in 19" size from Evans Tire. The cost out the door including mounting & balancing, rebuilding the TPMS sensors, recycling fee, tax and a 4 wheel alignment (with a 3 year guarantee if I want to come in and have it checked and realigned periodically) was $1645. The tires alone were $1384. I checked Tire Rack and by the time you add $60 to ship 4 tires to whatever shop is going to install them you are going to be at $1313. I don't begrudge a moderate profit to the shop and they did an excellent job, didn't scratch the rims, inflated them to the correct pressure, and hand torqued the lug nuts to 80 ft. lbs as is correct. I don't know how one poster came up with an $855 cost but I'll bet he won't be able to actually buy a set at that price.

Just ordered a new set of the Michelin Super Sport for my Z. I have 23K on the original tires:eek:

should have them here by middle of next week. Thanks for the reviews and info to the other posters!

There's a screenshot just in case anyone thought I was lying? Now when I go on tirerack and put in my zip code it tells me to call a number because they need to verify the price I'm seeing is the same that they're offering. I don't think I'm asking too much when I say the price they're putting on the website is that actual price they're going to charge me.

and there's the screen that i now get every time i put in my zip code. before it would take me to a screen that let me choose which form of shipping i wanted and the cheapest one would come out to 855.55.
