That is definitely something else that basically voids everything I just wrote above, it looks like on their site the 9.5" are the "deep concave" just like the rears. I'm not a fan of the front/rear faces being identical, but this means the spokes do in fact curve in more aggressively than mine.....and just like you said, probably won't clear.
This is frustrating because I'm spending my time trying to help, but there are limitations...LOL. I'd rather spend my time helping right now, rather than anyone wasting their money on something they don't like. |
lol.
and here i thought i was going to post my pre-researched numbers, get a few  and be good to go. I have an email, but will prob end up calling anyways, in with forgestar and muteki to make sure everything goes and fits right. This is quickly turning into a nightmare. stupid rims :( rep for all though! |

Good call, i failed to notice that on the site. I do like the stock non-sport wheels and how the backs are deeper than the front. SO i guess i'm back to 9 up front instead of 9.5. M0 options m0 problems. Edit: I think there should be a thread that lists all of this stuff in an organized fashion. something like Stock Height: -------------------- 18x? offset threashold: a to b. Offset a may want +mm spacers, offset b may want +mm spacers. 19x? offset threashold: a to b. Offset a may want +mm spacers, offset b may want +mm spacers. 20x? offset threashold: a to b. Offset a may want +mm spacers, offset b may want +mm spacers. xyz Springs: ------------------ 18x? offset threashold: a to b. Offset a may want +mm spacers, offset b may want +mm spacers. 19x? offset threashold: a to b. Offset a may want +mm spacers, offset b may want +mm spacers. 20x? offset threashold: a to b. If you're going back to a 9" front, then there is very good hope that they will fit.
19x9" +33 19x11" +29 This setup puts the outside edge of the wheels 0.5mm farther out front/rear than the Nismo 370Z wheels. 19x9" +33 is 9mm farther in than my 19x9" +24. And there appears to be about 16mm gap between my spoke and front calipers. So to me, this setup appears like it'll work just fine (to me). |
Not sure why, but i have F14s 19x9F 19x11 R with +24 all around and my rear is no were near as flush as nismofo, and its been bothering me... Im lowered with Tein S Techs that have a very subtle drop. I was able to get back to spec allignment with out adjustable arms.
Edit: I bet i just need some more drop and some camber arms. http://www.the370z.com/members/nitex...-back-home.jpg |
I Finlay ordered my forgestar last week in 19x9F +24 and 19x10R +20. Ill be dropping the car on swift springs most likely in the beginning. i just wanted to know what size spacer would i need for the rear to match the front and have a flush look and would it be OK to drive with the front initially being wider than the back?

You'll need a 10 or 15 mm spacer for the rear with the specs you ordered. I would go with 15 mm since you'll be lowered.

Offsets don't affect widths of the wheel. He can go with his stock sizes with the 9 inch wheel, and choose an offset that doesn't interfere with the fender.
|
I want to use stock tires but i got the lowest offset that they had for 10 inch which is +20. I did not want to use spacers but its the only choice

And the truth is that forgestar does not make awesome offsets. They are limited to what they can do since this is a one piece wheel. Personally I'd love my wheels about another 5mm front and 10mm rear farther out. The most I can push the rears out is 1mm with their specs. I have talked with Peter at forgestar about this. He says there is a 19x12 F14 in the works....but a +42 offset I believe which will suck them in farther. |
what the widest size tires would you be able to run on the 12 width once than, and would that even fit on the Z
|
called forgestar today, they said:
19x9 +25 up front 19x11 +28 in the back I trust what they say, but you guys warned of the +23 up front... +25 isn't much off of that! I would *assume* +30 would be a safer offset to go with, correct? |
Seriously? whats with all the +28+43? Thats not going to be flush at all, again i do not feel im flush at all with 19x9F 19x11R +24 all around.
And when i ordered my wheels i was told i can get any offset i choose (ideally +20F +15R) However they would not guarantee fitment and in the case the wheels did not fit, i could not return them. Just fyi, im running 275s upfront, and 305s in the rear. |
