FIVE:AD Wheels - Gunmetal
whats up guys
I'm planing on buying new wheels for my car and this is my first option i have the same car in the photo and I'm planing on getting the 20" http://www.jpmotor.net/images/gallery/z34_02.jpg 1 to 10 what do you think If you have another wheels in your mind please share :tiphat: |
3, not my style. I think stock looks better than those
|
can you recommend something !?
|
You somewhat double posted this. But if you want ideas start in the vendor section, members gallery, and the 370 photos section. There lots of pics here. Just look around. But they can get prices if your on a budget.

Not my cup of tea bro ... but all bias aside I still give it a 3 at most ... You could find better rims to go with the white Z .. what's your budget?

2. i was thinking of getting those, but went with the CE28s instead.
|
I would give them a 6. I'm not a huge fan. Five:AD has 5 spoke wheel that I like much better.
|
IMHO, those are a 3..
The stock look better to me.. I really like this look .. Check this thread.... Those would look awesome on PW.. http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...ore-shoot.html |
I give it a 5. I'm not sure if that photo is chopped but the low profile tires make it look ugly.
|
I dunno but I've always been a fan of gold volks on white cars... in fact someone has some 20s for sale right now:
http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...-gold-gtc.html If I had a white car, I would have gotten these already. |
I think they look great! 8 out of 10 And 20 inchers would be even better!
|
you'll probably get better assistance from the forum if you give an idea of how much you're willing to spend on wheels, and what you're trying to do. there's a variety of options you can go with that i think suit the Z much better than those. volk / advans are popular choices but run pretty steep. you can try some of the other vendor recommendations - strasse, forged specialties, venaci, vossen, etc. it all depends on where you're taking the car.
to me those 5:AD look good on some cars, but for the z they are a downgrade from the stock 19" sport rims. maybe a 4/10. |
DAAAAAAAAAAAmn those are hot
I think I might found my true love , BUt i won't rush it Quote:
thanks guys im welling to pay around $1200 But what do you think of the Super Concave SC M14 1 to 10 ^^^^^^ |
I would say check out these:
http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...ga-thread.html I have a very good special going on right now! |

If the fitment is right, I think it's a 9/10 |
OP, I think the ones you originally posted are at least 8's, those look good. In 20's they'd look great.
|
As you can see, everyone has different likes and tastes...get the wheels that you like best because you're paying for them and at the end of the day, you have to be happy with your choice.

Venaci mesh
|
They look small.

If you are looking at Five AD wheels, what about these......
http://jpmotor.net/images/wheels/x5f_gunmetal.png |
I would have to rate that a 4. In my opinion, the Z needs beefier wheels. The thin spokes are just too little and take away from the overall image of the Z.

The 5AD wheels are actually pretty nice looking, imo. From what I understand they're a bit heavy, but that's to be expected with a cheaper cast wheel.
Here's a pic that does them a little more justice. http://www.ob-photo.com/wp-content/u...17_obphoto.jpg |
^^ yah, that doesn't look too bad but the car is lowered and have other bits on it that kinda pulls focus away from just the wheels. (aka cheating) ;)
kidding aside that doesnt look too bad. not my style of wheels though. |
It's definitely different. Obviously, with the right stance and offset, many "ugly" wheels can look "good". :)
I think these are some unique wheels, though- that's kinda rare in the market these days, imo. |

If you want to buy then go for size in 20" they looks nice in bronze as well.

they look very similar to the Nismo, can you give the name !? |

They are the Five Axis X5-F. Those are in gunmetal, but they come in different color schemes and a few have a pin striping outline. Follow this link to get an idea of colors and sizes: X5:F - Wheels Buy here: Five Axis Wheels / Five Axis Rims / FIVE:AD Note: many of the Five AD wheels were built for vehicles like scions and may not come in the size/offset you are looking for. |
