Hello Everyone
Going to be buying a Z in the next couple of months and I'm pretty much decided on most of the mods except the wheels, there are just a staggering number of choices. I've been looking at alot of posts (this place is a wealth of information) and wheel manufacturers web sites and came across these Savini Forged S2s. Like the way they look but don't know anything about the company and haven't read about anybody using them, so any information is appriciated. Did a quick Photoshop of them on a Z (attached file, hope I did that right, first time ever posting). Was looking at going 19x9.5f and 19x11b with Eibach lowering springs. All comments and suggestions are welcomed. |

If your looking for the best quality on wheels on this forum. Strasse Forged is going to be your best bet. I have yet to see another brand with better quality for the price i am offering these at. Savini's are going to be EXPENSIVE! I can save you money and give you the look you want! What style of stance do you want? conservative, flush, hella flush? Are you performance minded on the wheels?
Kinda give us what your goal for wheels are? -mike

was planning on a flush look. Not extremely performance minded but I also don't want to add a tone of weight to the car. The only hp upgrades I was planning on were a F.I. CBE with their high flow cats and the Stillen Gen 3 intake. This is off topic for wheels, but your the only other Z I've seen with the Zele body kit, how much customization did you have to do with the exhaust to get it to fit? Gorgeous car by the way.

I don't know anything about the company, but that looks pretty nice, although several companies make similar wheels. I like the blue piping and cap to go with either black/carbon/gunmetal design.

MM36X, i have a style for you VERY similar and I would guarantee less then half the cost of Savini, and I can guarantee best pricing for 3 piece forged anywhere for AMAZING quality, unmatched I would have to say.

The exhaust for my zele kit was done custom by GTM it incorporates Agency Power Titanium GTR Tips. (lol SAM swore they would never fit I told him to make them fit since the tips cost me $500 for the set) The piping is all custom work and I believe GTM can reproduce the exhaust if there is enough interest... We did have to trim the bumper a good 1/4" to make it fit since the Zele exhaust is oval and not round and only reaching a diameter of 90mm I believe. Back on topic. Take my wheels for instance they weigh around 23~25lbs and thats a 20 x 10 and a 20 x 12!!! Not many other brands can match that! I will say that strasse are not the cheapest brand on the board at the moment and there is good reason for that. Strasse only buys the BEST materials on the market. Yes we can supply cheaper wheels but we have a reputation to uphold and Strasse has had 100% Customer Satisfaction in their product! Best Customer Service + Constant weekly updates on your order + Best Quality on the Market = Best Wheels on the Market! I didnt start selling these until I bought my wheels and after seeing other brands on this board first hand... I can tell you without a doubt in my mind 100% guarantee that Strasse Forged is #1 in Quality, performance, and customer satisfaction!!!!
