Wow, I'm totally jealous! The wheels/stance is perfect....yes, yes, yes.
I've been looking at spacers/offsets for the last few days. This thread is perfect timing for me. So I appreciate the post. I have been on the fence about spacers for awhile. I've done them before, just didn't know if I wanted to do it again. I keep reading about people using ARP or Nismo studs for the strongest studs possible. I don't know if this is necessary or not depending on what brand spacers I get (if any). So these are 15mm with the extended studs, correct? Also, what is your front camber? I'm calculating that if I run a 5mm F / 10mm R, I would have my wheels sitting to the outside like yours. The main difference for my car is that I've got my rear camber at -1.4 F / -1.2 R. I'm not sure if a front camber kit is in my future unless SPL releases a 370Z kit. I have 19x11" and 305/30 like you. It's obvious that a 10mm would work for the rear. I have less camber and more tire stretch being on 11". But I'm wondering if 15 would be too much...another 5mm past what you have. |

Looks good! I will be doing the same to mine.
Just wondering, does the car feel weird with different tires (front/back)? Where did you get the hankooks? how much? Thanks. |

you can barely feel a difference on the street with the different brand tires. the rear tires are a tad thinnner than the factory advans. that i dont like. i want meat back there!
my camber with just the Tein springs put my rear at the max camber acceptable for a nismo at -1.9/-1.7. the front was considerably out of factory spec with no adjustment available. SPL said they are still working on the front camber kit...... :\ with the spacers im sure its worse. the front feels as if camber has increased. the car wants to dart into corners. great for turns shitty for DD driving. i used H&R spacers with the supplied longer studs. everything was very high quality. easy install too. |

Thanks for the update. I contacted SPL as well on the front camber kit and got the same response. The spc and kinetix front kits don't look safe at all. Im at -1.4 front camber, so im in spec...but unwanted factory front camber around -0.6 for tire wear....I don't track my car. Im going to hold off on spacers until I get front camber kit because I know new front arms will push the top of my wheels out almost flush....if not flush. I think I ultimately want -0.6 F / -1.6 R camber settings similar to stock. Then I'll look into spacers and decide what I need....then realign again since I have a 3 year custom alignment warranty.
Your car looks great, and all the specs you are posting is really helpful to people like myself. |

I was wondering why you had rubbing in the front, then I realized that you have Nismo wheels. The wheel is 1/2" wider than the sport package wheel and already has 7mm more offset, so simply going from the sport package to the Nismo is like adding 13.35mm spacers. So with your setup, it's like having 28.35mm spacers on a non-Nismo car.
FYI, for anyone interested in the H&R spacers, if you want to save yourself some hassle go with the bolt-on ones in the rear and the stud replacement ones in the front. The front wheels won't clear the bolt-on ones. That's the setup I have and it works great, no vibration. |

yes you can do that Jessobear, but i wanted the strongest lightest setup and replacing the rear studs with the proper longer ones is best. the process was no harder than removing the huge front calipers! 22mm bolt heads!

Looks good bro, I was wondering were you driving on FM 1488 yesterday I saw a white Nismo and could have sworn it looked just like this because of the way you have your front plate.
