Default where are my wheels part 2

I don't know why this thread was closed when obviously Rick has had a problem with time frame,so many people here just want a straight answer from Rick not people speaking in his behalf I don't think that is much to ask for at all.

I'm really surprised that some people have not asked for a refund or called their credit card company to dispute the charges, say whatever any of you want no matter how you want to slice it this is as bad as it gets for customer service.

I agree. Especially the part with people talking on his behalf. That is bs. There are plenty of other options out there.

People are not talking on his behalf... Andrew is stepping up and asking rick for you guys since andrew is local and seriously just down the street from rick's shop.

Rick owns several companies the wheels are just one of them. He is like many entrepreneurs we wear many hats. Rick has also stated they had issues with their manufacturers over seas and he is trying to remedy that situation. If you have a problem call rick, email rick or PM rick. If you cant get a hold of him after a week post up and others will try to help.

I understand the wait is long and that is why I went with custom 3 piece wheels cause I could get them in 1 month delivered. I just delivered Metz's 20" wheels in CF in 2 months.

It is not so much the wait it is the fact that he has no idea where these wheels are but all he does is ask for more time, fine you need more time I need more information.
Rick is very hard to get in touch with so this site seems to be the best way for us and him to quickly get in some what intouch.

I find it funny how VIP came into the last thread only to show progress and teasers of his new line of wheels. LOL.

Trust me I understand. I ordered custom sets of Volks from Bulletproof a few years back and that took like 7 months... Mike had to have hated me calling in for updates so I know what yall are going through. I wish yall the best of luck and i know rick is trying to bring everything here for his manufacturing. That should fix future orders from this same problem. Just remember rick is here and the manufacturer is in japan. I hope rick can get you guys your orders to you soon.

My new car has been on stands for 3 months and I have no wheels I can't afford to let my car sit there and rot for 5-7 months If that's the case I will just pull the plug on this and order wheels next year.

Oh OH call me lol, for real as a dealer though no offense to rick but everyone is right. People are coming on here speaking for him, when you have alot of business's or not thats not an excuse. If you cant handle it, hire someone and if that doesnt work close the company. I had to deal with a chargeback after 2 months of a custom order, I wish you guys would order from me b/c man your all very nice and I actually talk to my customers.

This is one of those situations where I was on Ricks side but I am leaning as you should never have someone else talking good about you, trying to cover for your mistakes. I hope it gets resolved, but in fairness he sounds like a good guy so dont do a chargeback to him. Speak to him and let him refund you the money as I am sure he will.

not sure wat the situation is, but cancel the order through your creditcard (if that's wat you used) and order directly from japan. www.japanparts.com can help you out. im sure there are others eager to help.

I dont think he deserves that, the guy has been pretty nice for the most part in the past. I dont agree with how he is handling it, but chargebacks look REALLY bad on companies so at least give him the chance to just refund your money you know? You guys dont realize it bc your the customer, but its not fair to the store when its not their fault. If you want to cancel, do it, but out of respect to the guy at minimum give him the chance to just refund you the money and you guys, all of you who are having issues can just part ways.

I couldn't agree with you more Chris I was appalled by some of the responses in that other thread, especially when people mention he has other "business's" to run..

This was posted in the other thread but I couldn't quote it since it was closed..

Since you are in the "know" please explain to everyone what is going on.. Why on earth would an order that is typically quoted 8-12 weeks take over a YEAR to arrive.. I was in the wheel industry for 5+ years and have a lot of experience dealing with distributors, oversea manufactures, etc.. and have never seen an order take this long unless something went very wrong.. I had posted this on the my350z thread (where other members are also waiting for orders) and really hope for everyone it isn't the latter issue..

"Sucks to see you have to wait this long It could be due to various reasons, no way to really know what's going on sitting from the outside.. There has to be something really wrong going on for an order to actually take this long...

-Delay with manufacture
-Delay with importer
-Delay with customs
-Vendor doesn't have money to pay for incoming orders

Who knows "

I can't even get him on the phone, and you think I'm worried about a chargeback for him,if he got on the phone with me and talked to me and tell me the truth about what is going on I would probably calm down.
He doesn't even have someone manning the phones to take messages.

well, i dont know the whole story but it is absolutely the store's fault if they can't get their shitt together... meaning having meaningful discussions with the distributors in japan or whoever they're buying from, deliverying promises, meeting deadlines, deliverying product to the customer. if they can't make their promise give the customer the choice to cancel the order.

if the guy can't even answer his phone to conduct the refund, well there's no choice but to just cancel it through the creditcard company, unfortunately. i will leave it at that.

and im also in the business of selling as my profession... just in much larger dollars and much bigger liabilities and risks that involves hundreds of people at our company and thousands more at the customer's side. but same basic priniciples apply.

I personally don't have an issue with Rick or anyone. I have my own wheels. There JDM but they where here in stock. I just feel bad for these guys. That's the only reason I shined in. Really not my business at all. I just been the same boat before with a bodykit with no updated info. All I got was when it's here it's here. Even though there's issues over seas he still offers a service and you have to come threw on some level. I'm pretty sure Rick feels bad also. Just the world we live in. Third parties never work. It's bad for both parties. People just want straight answers or more answer with the proper attention they fill is needed to help there nerves a little. But I'll butt out now. I hope the best for everyone and Rick.

I really don’t want to cancel my order but if I'm going to be continually lied to then to me I would rather wait 5 months more for someone who is straight up front with me than wait 2 months not knowing what the is going on.
