Now I dont know Rick, but apparently everyone that has gone through him for the most part has had a good experience. Now on that note, a year is not acceptable, and not addressing your customers and having someone do it for you is NOT acceptable.

Its great you feel for him, but if I were to do that to my customers I would get chargebacks galore and people talking bad about me. I dont do that though, b/c if your going to take someones money and Im not talking about 2k here, I am talking big money for many people. You should not ignore them, lets be real here an email takes 2 minutes out of your day to say "hey i am here and havent forgotten about you, I will get back to you about it today or tomm, etc"

If their is a manufacturer problem, then tell your customers that you are having a delay and working on it and are waiting on an estimated delivery date. Heck FS, had a problem recently where a machine broke at their aluminum supplier and has delayed some orders. THey came to me and told me, and ask everyone on order. They knew right away and I told them what was going on. If you want to stick up for him thats fine, but if you cant take 2 minutes to answer a simple email, you probably should not be in this business.
Hey Hey now I don't want to go to war so keep that in mind lol. I think along the lines it is more like why is another forum sponsor jumping in here and commenting about this when he is also a wheel supplier. Weather what he is doing is wrong or not just kinda makes it look like hey this is what you get for doing business with him should have done it with me etc etc. No need to make this a drama thread but I just think from your post thats how he was feeling. Good luck guys and hopefully you get the rims soon. I am sure Rick is working his little butt off.
Frank

I'm sure Ricks a fine dude... and yes, they are made in Japan, but custom made Volks come in no longer than 5 months or so?

Just saying... If plan A fails then go plan B.

I know its easier said than done.. but if someone has been around forever, shouldn't he know the ins and outs of this crazy mess of importing??

Not saying Rick is some kind of shady vendor here at all. Just saying there should be a better process, especially if he wants this business (wheels) to do well in the future. Yeah the delay may not be his fault, but it is putting his business reputation in line. Would potential customers see this and take their business else where? Sure.

I'd do whatever I can to fix that.

Fly over to Japan and whoop someone's *** if that will help speed up the process.

Like someone stated before, its all about the customer service.

Sorry for busting your balls Rick!

I'm really surprised that some people have not asked for a refund or called their credit card company to dispute the charges, say whatever any of you want no matter how you want to slice it this is as bad as it gets for customer service.

About that time the wheels will start going to the 40/20 foot container. 4 wheels or 8 wheels what ever get's done we try to have it set up to come to the U.S. But 2-4 wheels only means we are sharing the container with other people's parts. If not we can always fly it here for $750 more for 4 wheels.

Then the rest make's there way to U.S
At the time you order yes we did talk and understand about this time frame.
Sorry if your car is on jack stand, but you told me this when we were making the order.A lot of people sell the stock wheels right away before the after market wheels get here.

We try to keep a lot of wheels in stock, then one guy want sliver then black then other offset.
Frank and i talk today,so i think he understand.

Some people want wheels in stock
That's why they go for $800 for copy TE37 or $4000 for real TE37 and 19's ONLY!

Venaci is made in Japan By SSR+WORK+RAYS are about $3300 in 20x9.5+20x11 and you can pick your color and offset.

And not having to buy fix size and offset with some wheels out there.
Yea i'm pretty sure there's a lot of wheels out there you can buy for 3k.
But most pep's here can compare.
We are just trying to bring the best parts here in the U.S for good $$.

We VIP-STATUS are a 5000 sq tuner shop. And not a online company trying to sell wheels all days long.So yes we have cars to work on.And i also work on the car and try the fitment so every will get the right offset.
So no, we don't have 10 guys waiting by the phone.

I know i know, who care's right? Everyone one want there wheels.
No one ever write about things they all get hooked up with from us.

thanks for filling in the blank areas that I didn't know about.

Rick I never doubted you as far as delivering a great product and I will be sure to posts pics of my wheels and like I told you on the phone Kevin said you were a stand up guy thanks for proving him right.
Looks like this thread has served it purpose and I'm gonna close it. This isn't other Z forum where a thread goes to 60000000 pages. Where in other forum, they LIVE for the drama. ME on the other hand, DON'T like drama in my forum. Just for your information, I CLOSED the thread yesterday. Once the vendor replies, I usually close the thread because OP got the attention they wanted and vendor answered. We don't need to create a new thread everyday. We have private message system for things like this.

Also, I don't like when other vendors jump in to comment about another vendor. There are 15,000+ members are on the forum that they(vendors) get criticism from (sometimes). The last person they need to hear from is another vendor. If you're vendor please refrain from making comments into other vendors thread REGARDLESS how temped you are.

Thanks
