Cant agree more  , commitment is everything in sales, dont post or pormise the people when you dont know about your stock status.

Again just giving my comments and have to agree Venaci are the best possible wheels which suits our Z and was planning to buy the wheels, but the timeline hold be back, for me I can buy two sets of aftermarket wheels and wait as its too much money involved for me.

We people in UAE also in the same boat and if products coming from Japan to USA to UAE/Dubai its double shipping and double waiting and lots of people I know here they take a date and if the product is not here just cancel it

I hope it works out for everyone waiting for the wheels

Fixed;) BUt with a reasonable timeline for completely custom wheels.

I wish everyone the best on the arrival of the wheels and/or refund... The problem i see was the promise date and updates. The shipping company used was highly unreliable as well -_-

Your order was made for VS124 made by SSR japan on 11-18-2010 let's say they got the order, and then started a week after end of Nov.Takes about 30 days more or less to get done.
About that time the wheels will start going to the 40/20 foot container. 4 wheels or 8 wheels what ever get's done we try to have it set up to come to the U.S. But 2-4 wheels only means we are sharing the container with other people's parts. If not we can always fly it here for $750 more for 4 wheels.

Then the rest make's there way to U.S
At the time you order yes we did talk and understand about this time frame.
Sorry if your car is on jack stand, but you told me this when we were making the order.A lot of people sell the stock wheels right away before the after market wheels get here.

We try to keep a lot of wheels in stock, then one guy want sliver then black then other offset.
Frank and i talk today,so i think he understand.:tiphat:

Some people want wheels in stock
That's why they go for $800 for copy TE37 or $4000 for real TE37 and 19's ONLY!

Venaci is made in Japan By SSR+WORK+RAYS are about $3300 in 20x9.5+20x11 and you can pick your color and offset.

And not having to buy fix size and offset with some wheels out there.
Yea i'm pretty sure there's a lot of wheels out there you can buy for 3k.
But most pep's here can compare.
We are just trying to bring the best parts here in the U.S for good $$.

We VIP-STATUS are a 5000 sq tuner shop. And not a online company trying to sell wheels all days long.So yes we have cars to work on.And i also work on the car and try the fitment so every will get the right offset.
So no, we don't have 10 guys waiting by the phone.

I know i know,who care's right? Everyone one want there wheels.
No one ever write about things they all get hooked up with from us.

Now excuse my little segue, but...look, we all get it, you are very very aggressive with Forged Specialties wheels. Yes, they look pretty good, VERY good in some cases, and they're having a month-long turnaround or aroundish that. Great, whoo hoo.

But this kind of attitude - calling out other vendors, interjecting your own product in unrelated threads, etc. - towards other vendors is not respectful and completely out of line.

Some may appreciate only the end product, but to me, respect is just as important in a sale as a good product, and I would rather take my business elsewhere than go to someone who drags their competition's name in the mud to make themselves look golden.

For those in wait like Baer383 - I feel for you, really, especially since your car is up on stands. It sucks to be waiting that long with little to no information, but Rick has been a good vendor in the past, I don't see how that changed now.

Like others have said, remember the vendor is here, but the supplier is in Japan. Unless you want to pay a LOT of money to air ship it, the wheels will go into a container and make its way out here slowly. Three months is not completely out of the question. You've asked Jamaica@UAMotorsports for help and he's trying to do so, and Rick has already replied to this thread once. Be patient, you'll get what you want. One thing maybe you could've done in hindsight is keep your stock wheels until the new ones came in, then put them up for sale.

Rick it was good to talk to you today now that I understand what transpired over the last couple of months it is pretty bad that your supplier flaked on you.
thanks for filling in the blank areas that I didn't know about.

Rick I never doubted you as far as delivering a great product and I will be sure to posts pics of my wheels and like I told you on the phone Kevin said you were a stand up guy thanks for proving him right.:tiphat:

I have done nothing wrong, but I do feel it a bit unfair that everyone always expect certain expectations. Now I dont know Rick, but apparently everyone that has gone through him for the most part has had a good experience. Now on that note, a year is not acceptable, and not addressing your customers and having someone do it for you is NOT acceptable.

Its great you feel for him, but if I were to do that to my customers I would get chargebacks galore and people talking bad about me. I dont do that though, b/c if your going to take someones money and Im not talking about 2k here, I am talking big money for many people. You should not ignore them, lets be real here an email takes 2 minutes out of your day to say "hey i am here and havent forgotten about you, I will get back to you about it today or tomm, etc"

If their is a manufacturer problem, then tell your customers that you are having a delay and working on it and are waiting on an estimated delivery date. Heck FS, had a problem recently where a machine broke at their aluminum supplier and has delayed some orders. THey came to me and told me, and ask everyone on order. They knew right away and I told them what was going on. If you want to stick up for him thats fine, but if you cant take 2 minutes to answer a simple email, you probably should not be in this business.

people havnt questioned Rick's products.. or his prices.. or where they are coming from.. Only that when there is an issue everyone has to look for him and it should be the other way around. When you call call call, PM and e-mail and get no response it makes you mad. Especially when other people come on here and say, oh give him a break hes running alot of businesses. Thats his fault.. not a customers.. Or when someone says I can talk to Rick every day i'll get you an update.. which means you can reach him, so hes either screening calls, avoiding etc. Again its up to Rick to reach out to the customers. Thats called good service. Its something every company should aspire too. And THAT is the beef that Frank had. He never questioned anything else. and you may say you'd take your business somewhere else cus of a few things I am sure there are people saying they would rather go to someone other than Rick due to the communication issues. But really makes me mad that someone comes on here and says "Frank maybe what you SHOULD have done is blah blah blah" comeon.. Frank did nothing wrong. He asked about a product, he paid for it and he got told a delivery time. When that didnt happen, he tried to reach out and got Ignored.

Btw, this is over for Frank at least (for now), hopefully all his other customers have gotten some response as well. And Hey Frank when do we get to see the vehicle then...

So what's the word on the wheels? Hasn't been made? Hasn't been shipped? Currently on ocean freight? In customs? On truck to his residence? Or no one knows? ;)

I only spoke to Rick about mine and it was explained in the post from him above as far as everyone else the only thing I can say is my wheels and 1 other guy had them ordered from 1 place because the wheels we ordered are made in this facility and no were else.

370Z JT 01-28-2011 08:49 PM

I read his post but it didn't say your status. Only thing concrete was the order date. Everything else was speculative. If you know where your wheels are then that's all that matters.
