Volk TE 37 FZero paint code?
I can't seem to find the color/paint code for the F-zero color. I'm not going to blow money on the genuine, given that I live in nyc, so I'm thinking about powdercoating Varrstoen ES 2.2.2 ripoffs.
|
my understanding is that volk never gives out paint codes
|
^ especially custom colors.
|
Any good painter could match them.
Just please don't put Volk or Nismo logos on those wheels. |
I bet if you pay someone from the company you'll get it!

im cool with people buying replica wheels if thats what they want... but i think its taking it too far to try and play them off as the real thing. its cool to fool the people who dont know, but trying to pull a fast one on your fellow car enthusiasts who would otherwise know the difference is kinda ... i dont like

That's what OP's wheels are, lookup Varrosteon.
No offense OP, we're just talking. |

No offense taken. I just want that look. That design in that color.
|
Even though someone fabricated the te37 onto the amuse kit, I thought it was a match made in heaven. Half of it being that my fav color is blue

To quote Paris Hilton ^ thats hot...
|
Discussion about replicas and all aside, I think the color itself, which is what the OP is after looks beautiful coupled with PW.
|
There is no available paint code for the F-Zero... Trust me I tried and ended up with painting my wheels a custom candy blue to match them. BASF candy charizzma blue or something along those lines
|
Mike I been wanting to ask you, how does 1000 hp in a 370 feel? Is it heaven on earth?
|
i guess trying to get the bronze color code from the TE-37s is outa the question also?
love to paint my nismo wheels!!! |

no just the rough dark bronze.
|
As stated before you cant get the paint codes from Volk for any finish.
|
Since these are cast it makes it even easier to find a painter than if you bought the real forged TE's. I don't suggest Powdercoating forged wheels as a general rule since the PC'ing process exposes the wheel to intense heat and can comprimise rigidity.
Again just talk to a painter in your area and I'm sure you can find something close, there are enough pics of the wheel on the internet to match with. |
The white 370 just looks crazy with the wheels.
|
I juuuust checked my f zero blue ce28 on the way home :(.... I'm excessively pissed right now.... Yup I'll admit I'm being a bit excessive but fuuuuck!!!! It's f zero bluuuue :(

waking up this thread!!
did the OP or anyone found the F-Zero Blue color code? thinking of painting my CE28 with this color. |
I doubt it, and a color match never matches. But depending on what you got I may consider trading the set I have for another color just cause mine have a few Knicks and I am probably gonna color change them unless someone cares to save them.
