help on 20 inch wheels!
ive been reading around the forums.but it didnt really answer my question. is it possible to run 20x 10.5 +33 on the front w/o rubbing im on stock height and camber. and what is the advantages of having a staggered setup? cause i plan on having a non staggered setup, just so could have my tires rotated and save some money on tires for now. or would it cost more money to have a non staggered setup.btw i dont track the just a dd car.

Its a maybe, and honestly that is an odd size to buy. If you have the wheel already, why dont you just bolt it up and check it out. The offset and size theoretically COULD fit, but I mean I think it would come down to tire size. I will tell you this, your not going to like how the car drives and feels when turning and what not with that big of a wheel up front.

thanks for the input.my friend was trying to sell me his set and almost had me convinced that these would save me some money since i would be able to rotate tires and dont track the car anyways

10.5 is a really wide wheel for up front. even if you did get a "sqaure" setup, you'd need different offsets for the front and rear, regardless of whether or not they were the same widths. so you couldn't just rotate your tires like you would on a subaru or something.
for example. if you get a wheel that looks like it fits up front, it will be tucked in by a lot in back, if you get a wheel that fits good in back, it will stick out like crazy up front. don't choose your wheels based on tire rotating, you wont be happy in the long run. this is a RWD car.... you don't rotate the tires, you made that decision when you bought the car. Now go pick some wheels you really like instead of what will save you a marginal amount of tire life. Last edited by Jeffblue; 01-20-2011 at 10:51 AM. |
