Also, am I supposed to keep the valve stem caps on as well?

I just ordered a set Volk GT-S's and it looks like the 90 degree iForged adapters should work fine. Here's a thread I found on installing those $35 bracket adapters
Finally, TPMS Solution for Multi-piece wheels (maybe others) - RX8Club.com I wonder why your installer had issues with the screw. I'm going to get the 90 degree iForged ones and use those. I would think with or without valve stem caps, it shouldn't matter.

In my previous Volks SF winning I used these 90deg adaptors, works fine after some initial fitments as, I was having a small leak after first install but then they torqued it correctly and was fine. Just a special precaution is needed as there isint that much space between tmps and tire so if you run on less air it can damage the tmps.
Now in Volks GT-30 there are two holes so one for Vokls valve stems and one for stock TMPS |

The screw was a bit on the short side when adding in the adapters, so within the limited time frame that we had it was difficult to press down and screw it in. Without the adapters it went on fine, they left it out.

I believe the issue only comes up on the 2 piece wheels with the 90 degree valve stems. Although it looks like you can order versions with 2 holes for valve stems now.
My wheels should have arrived today but this winter storm is a bastard

Just got my wheels and apparently they are the version with 2 holes for valve stems so I don't need the adapter after all

Oh drats I thought they were discontuing the GT-S line over a year ago because I didn't get a good selection. FP could not order +30mm for the fronts either so I have been stuck with spacers up front.

Yea I was lucky enough that FP still had one set in stock since Nov. with the right offsets +30 front, +8 rear. Getting tires put on tomorrow and will probably have some pics up this weekend.

Ah gotcha! My wheels are formula silver and had to be special ordered, which is probably the reason why I couldn't get it in +30mm up front. What tires did you get? My next set is probably 255/40 and 285/35 to offset the height difference with the Swift springs (i.e., reduce likelihood of the FI cans from scraping).

A lot of the newer production Rays/Volk wheels are TPMS ready. For example, before you couldn't use GT-Cs with TPMS sensors, but recently Rays changed to the previously mentioned "dual hole" design that allows for mounting of the TPMS sensor in inside of the barrel of the wheel.
If you guys are having any issues or have any questions with regard to fitting TPMS to a particular wheel (with the exception of ROTAs or other replica wheels), don't hesitate to contact me. -Kris |

I've been tracking my driving habits lately and I don't really see any spots where I'll be scraping at all. I rarely even encounter speed bumps and usually avoid them anyway if I do.

I used the iForged 90 degree adapters on my GT-S wheels with no major issues; they worked. The only issue is that the o-ring/seal on the iForged valve-stem gets stretched pretty good. My tire shop recommended replacing the valve-stem or o-rings each time I replaced my tires. I actually think the butterfly adapter works better, and eliminates this issue. I would not use bands; there are much better solutions (I would have a machine shop tap a second hole in each wheel like Volk does now before I used bands).
