ok after taking another look on the actual car... the pictures are a bit deceptive. there is only room for a 10mm MAYBE a 15mm spacer back there in the rear. It doesnt look nearly as sunken in in person.. but none the less, spacer time.
ya the 19x11 were special order i believe, i mean, they came in like 6 weeks after the fronts thanks for the compliments guys. does anyone else notice how NOT photogenic the 370z is? I never liked the car until i saw it in person, and i still just never really care for the car in pictures, and then i see it in person and love it. |

You have to stand really far away when you take pics or the camera distorts the car. The 350z didn't have this problem.
Your pics came out fine. But I can't see the detail because it's black.

I think the 370Z is very photogenic. Try shooting a little lower than eye level (chest or waist level). Also, I think a rear 3/4 view is the car's best angle. To reduce fish-eye distortion inherent in most point and shoot cameras, step further back and zoom in to compose your shot. You'll find that zooming will not only reduce lens distortion, it will also give you a shallower depth of field (depending on the camera settings). That means if you focus on the car, things in the background can be slightly blurred, thus giving the subject of your photo (the car) more attention.
Here's a couple of examples: This was shot at about headlight level. I was standing about 100 ft back with a long lens. Notice how the background is blurred. If you have the option of adjusting the aperture, the wider (i.e. getting closer to F2.8) you go, the more this effect is noticed. And look at that great looking azz! Yes, I'm using professional gear, but the general photography principles apply no matter what kind of camera you use. Happy shooting!

honestly when the wheels showed up and i was waiting to put them on, i got over them pretty fast and almost regret the purchase. but after seeing them on the car in person, i really do like them a lot. |

it looks good, but I do agree the offset is a little weak in the rear. Just wondering, but what camber are you running? I would think you would be able to correct it no?

unsure on my camber, i dropped it with H&R and havent had it aligned/checked yet. the car is going to be TT so i will be pulling out all the camber to almost zero degrees like i had to in my 350z to get any traction. im sure that alone will help a little.

super undecided on that. i am kinda indifferent about them... but i have a feeling that many people might criticize them. so i sort of think that if i dont care either way, then i might as well not make a potentially controversial move. i have mostly been figuring on putting it on just one wheel for the hell of it, like a tag.

part of me feels like.... since the SL spoke sticker is such an uncommon thing among wheels (essentially one spoke being another color), i feel like the second i put those stickers on, my car will immediately be confused with any other car running the SLs. it would be like having 2 guys with hot pink wheels on their honda in the same town... there is only room for one of those guys per area.

Looks great man.
IMO, the SL's are all about the decals...

At first I didn't like the sticker, but the more I see the wheels with the stickers on, the more I like them. It's like it's naturally a part of the SL. Still considering them for my 40th.
