10mm spacer for the rear
 

hey guys,

so i have a set of TE37 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 and +22 all around..
i need 10mm spacer in the rear to make it fit even better.. im not looking for bolt ons, im looking for new studs also.

but a local shop is telling me that they cant guarantte that H&R 10mm spacers will fit since H&R cant even be sure themselves.

they said ichiba will work, but they make horrible studs? im not sure if thats true, the claimed that the studs broke when they tried to install it last time.

they are saying that i should go with nismo studs and ichiba 10mm spacer. but its pricy.. 3 times the price if i only got ichiba spacer and studs

does anyone have the H&R 10mm spacer installed with new studs?? or anyone ahve ichiba stud and spacers??

Why would they not ?? I looked it up the 10mm from H&R should fit the part # is HR2065662.

A 10mm spacer in the rear should bring the offset out nicely. There is a debate about whether the bolt on style spacers such as the Ichiba V2s are safe to use as they essentially add weak points to the wheels because they have two sets of studs holding the wheel to the hub instead of studs built into the hub like the H&Rs.

I am trying to figure that out personally; I have seen reviews of people having the Ichibas fail by snapping studs while many have run them for years and have never had an issue.

that part number is for a 350z, the local shop and H&R are both unsure if it can be used on a 370z
thanks for the part number tho! i googled the part number and found out that this site is selling H&R 10mm spacer for 370z with the same part number that you gave.

i would rather go with H&R if they fit, but if they dont than i would go with nismo studs and ichibas 10mm spacer. i rather not take the risk of my studs breaking:)

what the hell? i had the h&r 10mm dsr spacers on with my ce28s, +22 all around just like yours. they worked fine.

Is it mandatory to install extended studs with 10mm spacers? I guess it would depend on the design of the wheel?

They're included.. and having bite on a stud really outweighs the minimal time they take to swap. Especially when they're included.. but you could always bolt them up and see.
