Normal, a little road grime and you'll never noticed it again. That is a smoking deal on the tires though.

They make plastic scrapers to remove those. Most large tire stores use them so that does not happen. I am pretty anal and it would bother me. I take the cores out, no center cap and no weights on the wheels. I also take the wheels in off the car. I know that it may seem a litttle overboard but I have worked in those type of places for years and see how any kind of performance car gets treated. There is not many shops that will take the care you would on your car. I would say something to point out that it matters to some people even if it seems like nothing to others. good luck if you do decide to say something.

i'd be a little upset about it too, because I've had my tires mounted before and this never happened. They make tools and other methods of removing them to avoid this... but that's just me. I don't really know what they could do to fix it...
