Are gold wheels on a white car still cool?

I know, and I agree with you. I already said I personally like the white/gold setup. If I had people tell me what to like I'd have black rims, way stretched tires and have them poking 30mm past my fenders. More power to them if that's what you like, just not my style. But, I just didn't want to do something that would make people point and laugh either even if I thought it was cool. Just wanted to know what other people like too. Like I said I've been out of the loop for a while. This is my first little import sports car, I've been a old school muscle car owner before this.

I'm kind of old (turning 34 in a couple weeks) and I still can't believe that anyone thinks black wheels look good. In my mind, the only thing that looks worse is chrome.

I think gold wheels would look good, although it would depend on the wheel and the shade of gold. I'd say stick with something with a polished lip. I personally am not much of a fan of the painted wheel look when the whole wheel is one solid color.
