Replacing Tires On Nismo Rims
I'm getting close to 15k miles and I've noticed my rears are near the wear bars. I searched and found this post but not too much else. I know side wall profiles vary a little slightly between brands, but does anyone have larger sizes they can share that are working on the Nismo rims?
I especially want to know if they are working on a lowered car with the alignment near stock spec since I plan to go that way. On the above post someone mentioned they had 265/35 and 305/30's but he couldn't figure out how to link pics.... I love that the 370 has no lip inside the rear fender that needs to be rolled so I'm hoping since although the Nismo offset is nice it's not agressive to interfere with larger tires. If I don't hear back from you guys soon I'll just have to play safe and just go one size up on each. Thanks in advance.

once you lower more than an inch you will not be within stock camber settings. you can fit 305/30/19's on the back AND add a 15mm spacer and still not rub. same for the front. im not sure what the max tire size up front is. you might be right with 265's
once lowered you will get even less millage on the tires. look into camber kits front and rear. spl has a front kit STILL in the works. their rear kit is great though. Last edited by fuct; 12-01-2010 at 04:22 PM. |

I fully intend to get adjustable arms when I get coilovers, that's how I figured on being back to near stock alignement for street settings. I agree SPL makes the best stuff, it's on the wish list for when I have the budget
