Second Generation Volk TE37's

I think they'd look great on a Z34...

Rays venerable Volk TE37, the premier racing wheel used in everything from rally to SuperGT from tough Skyline GT-Rs to street Honda Vitz, is getting a facelift in 2008 with the release of the TE37 G2 series of wheels. Due out shortly from Rays Volk these forged aluminium monoblock construction wheels will be available in a range of colours and sizes up to 20″.

The wheels made their international public debut on the Mine’s Nissan GT-R at SEMA recently where these photos were taken but word has been getting around under covers for a while now.

We have seen a TE37 like wheel on the GT-R before in the guise of the Nismo Clubsport, Tokachi Endurance GT-R and Nissan Spec-V wheel but official nomenclature had not been confirmed and the look left a lot to desire in some critics eyes. These wheels suit the new GT-R’s offset a lot more but is it blasphemy to use the iconic TE37 name on this newcomer?

To be honest I love the look of them on the Mine’s car.

I think these will be the wheels going on my Z34...I'm just scared to see the price!

You know, when it comes to me spending money on anything I never sacrifice quality, and unlike so many other wheel makes out there RAYS are high quality O.E.M. style wheels. Sure they cost a lot but you can never put a price on a high quality product, IMO.

Totally Agreed. I always loved RAYS and Volks. But RAYS make the best OEM rims. My favorite Z rims http://z.about.com/d/cars/1/0/T/k/ny_07_nismo350z.jpg

I can't wait to see the new Z with aftermarket rims

I'm just not feelin these.....

I like the ones on the GT-R (without the lip) better than the other ones.

Whaa? It's all the same, its just that the pics of the R35 GTR and E92 M3 are the only pictures where the wheel are actually mounted on a car.

The silver and gunmetal ones on the shelf appear to have more of a lip, the ones in the box and on the GT-R do not. Could just be an optical illusion, but looks different to me.

Hey, do you guys know if they have this for the 370z in gold?
Like the Volk's TE37 Golds?

CrownR426 11-18-2008 03:52 AM

Can someone tell me which rim size I should get for the 370z?
I need to see how much more money I need to save up!

:icon17: getting a little impatience? It'll take a little time before you can see wheels for the 370Z. Aftermarket manufacturer have to test, fit and check all the measurement before bringing new rims for the Z. Patience is a virtue!
