Jacking points on the car? Anyone got pics? Where exactly are the "official" jacking points on the front and rear of the car??

Thanks AK but I've already looked at those from the owner's manual. I need real pics to better visualize them.

Just go look?

Yup, the notches on the pinch welds are very easy to see. Just keep in mind you should use a pinch weld adapter if you decide to use a floor jack on those mounts to keep from damaging them. The stock spare jack is designed for the pinch weld, but most floor jacks and jack stands are not.

Its easy to see, just take a look underneath.

Ah, I finally see those jacking points with a flashlight. Damn they are so recessed inwards away from the side skirt, I really had to stick my head under the side skirt to see them. Why are they so recessed inwards? I remember on my old Honda Accord the jacking points were directly under the side skirts.

They come in handy if you ever get aftermarket sides

Something like this might help.

Can the rear be supported by using a jack on the differential? (I use ramps for the front, but want to change the differential fluid as well as the transmission fluid.) Was thinking about placing the jack under the differential, jacking up the rear and them placing jack stands under at the side rails.

i thought i read in the manual it advised against raising the car from the differential. something about the case being made of aluminum. i could be crazy though. ;)

I just ordered one of these, we'll see how it works: Pure Motorsport
