Need Help on Unusual Winter Setup
I'm looking at putting 18" 225/50 all around winter tires on the stock base model 18" rims which originally have 225/50 front and 245/45 rear tires. Does anyone have a similar setup and does anyone know if the 225's could fit into the rear wheels? How good in terms of winter performance is this setup compared to staggered? How bad would it look with this setup? And does this setup interfere with traction control or anything? The reason I'm looking at this setup is that there aren't many 245 winter tires locally plus with 225 all around I get the advantage of rotating the tires. I am not considering buying another set of rims for winter as I plan to buy new rims for my summer setup. Any advice/comment is welcome. Thanks!
