chrome sport wheels

Does anyone know a place in new jersey or new york that can chrome the 19" sport wheels?

Forgive me for asking, but why chrome? I don't think they will look good at all, but that's just my opinion.

You should have photoshoped pic done before deciding.

I would recommend against it, there has been problems in the past with the Nissan OEM wheels when have been chromed.

Why not just have them polished? Chrome adds so much weight. No bueno!

is there a place that will polish them?

I'm not from Jersey but call around to some of the local wheel shops. I'm sure you can find someone to do it. My buddy found a local guy that polished all of his wheels for $200.

Yeah, def polish if you want the shiny look. Say no to chrome!

doesn't the chroming process make the metal more brittle?

Jeffblue 11-18-2010 06:29 PM

if you want real shiny, i say go polished. However, i think lou fusz had a set of wheels chromed for a car he sold.

Instead of dealing with the up keep of polished aluminum, why don't you look into using the paintable chrome that essentially gives 90% of the look of chrome but is applied through a paint gun and is a chemical reaction. Long lasting finish, won't be too expensive, and will not demand the maintenance of bare polished metal.
