Acceptable Offsets?
I need to take some time and educate myself on wheel sizes and offsets etc because I have no idea what any of the numbers mean, in the meantime can someone tell me if the following would be aceptable offsets for a 370z?
What is ideal for our cars? Fronts are 19x8.5 29mm offset Rears are 19x9.5 34mm offset Would this fit a 370z? Thanks |

the 19" rays have a 9 up front with a +47 offset and a 10" in the rear with a 30m those offsets will have the FRONT wheel stick out an extra 12mm (which is a bit more aggressive than stock, but not significantly, and if you were to lower your car, the wheel would still look really tucked in). the REAR will look 10mm MORE tucked in, so right there you are gonna be really sunk in looking. the ideal offsets people seem to be running are: Front: 9.5 with a +22mm Rear: 10.5 with a +12mm if you want to maintain the same OUTER stance, ie how 'flush' or 'sunk' the wheel looks compared to the fender, these sizes/offsets will have the same outer stance Front: 11.0" + 41mm Front: 10.5" +35mm Front: 10" +28mm Front: 9.5" +22mm Front: 9" +16mm Front: 8.5" +9mm Front: 8.0" +3mm Rear: 12" +31mm Rear: 11.5" +25mm Rear: 11" +18mm Rear: 10.5" +22mm Rear: 10" + 6mm Rear: 9.5" -1mm Rear: 9.0" -7mm |
Yes it would fit but it wouldn't be very aggressive for a 370z
This is a good explanation of offset: http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/u...etdiagram1.jpg Quote:

Not settling for an offset that isn't ideal tho... Keeping a close eye on all used TE37's. I like the TE37SL's but want black wheels, we'll see what happens. |
i'll keep an eye out for anything if i see someting i'll let you know  how much are you looking to spend?

Looking to spend 2500$ or less if used, having said that, may still go new TE37SL route and suck it up and powdercoat them. |
Hmm... interesting. Those don't even look like width/offsets that would belong on a 350z. More like a G.

They are too conservative for a 370z and were more intended to be used with the large AP brake setup that particular 350z was running. |
Thanks, I figured something was up because 1800$ is a phenominal price but the wheels have been for sale since early October.
