Powdercoating Wheels
 

So i have a MB 370 and was thinking of powdercoating my rays. I was wondering if anyone has powdercoated them black and put any pinstripe color on the rim. I was thinking of smoking the tails and getting the rims in black with a yellow pinstripe but i would like to see a pic first of the rays pinstriped.

For sure, ill probably get it done around christamas time. Gotta paint the door handles black too supposedly thats not too cheap. Painting the calipers, powdercoating rims, getting intake, smoking out rears, and possibly getting a black housing in the front plus 8k hids all at the same time lol. Im not gonna have a car for like 4-5 days plus it wont be cheap but hey it will look nice. Oh i think imas get the lugs yellow with the rest of the rim black and only the stripe in yellow.

Yeah, It sounds sick man. And who cares if you have a gf to be your personal taxi for a while it would be totally worth it. I was thinking instead of yellow maybe a blue... its just sick how the yellow stands out. Bu yea bro - its ganna be awesome!

Yeah at first i was thinking blue but i think the yellow stand out more although the blue looks nice as hell. And as far as my gf being my taxi yeah its nice to be driven around lol

I powdercoated my stock wheels but no pinstripe and tinted the tails along with headlights modified black. It came out to my satisfaction. Here is a pic of what it looks like. Good luck!

as far as the different color stripe, i vote no....just get them all black...

Thanks for the pic zCarMan, it looks really nice, tahts what im going for but just with the stripe. I like the idea of the car having more color.
And as far as 370biggestfan goes that was my girlfriend pranking me because i had told her that no one had replied on the forum yet so she was messing around with me lol.
And idk the all black looks good but i feel like the car just needs a bit more color than it being ALL black.

There are a set of PCd Black Nismo wheels I believe with a MR Blue pinstripe if you wanted to get an idea like that...
