One off wheels.. Anyone done it?

So for my winter project im looking into making my own set of one off wheels. I have the resources and know how to do it, just curious if anyone has done it.

i dont think anyone has done a one off wheel yet, but i could be mistaken...im saving right now and it is rather difficult... haha, i have my eyes on one wheel in one finish... we will see if i can hold out long enough to put down my down payment in 2 weeks... or if suspension and or a new camera slr body will take the list. so difficult!

It would be cheaper to call a custom wheel manufacturer like Strasse forged to make your wheels. It's expensive to have them made and designed... I did the research last year to do it and your better off just buying a custom set then to try and do it yourself.

Fixed;) I kid I kid, but I agree its WAY to costly to get it done and frankly its really not a big deal and selling them will be tough especially if no one has heard of whoever makes them.

Well the design work i can do. I have all the programs at wrk do do it with. As for CNC, i know 2 machinest personally that could do it.

Also im not looking to do the whole rim. Im looking to make a two piece rim. so im most likely going to buy the lip from someplace and machine my own center piece.

Hey Chris,
Could u PM me with some ideas on just the lip all around? looking to fo 9 in the front and 10.5 in the rear
