nice rims I like it
but how much it wights ???

OMGWTFBBQ 03-12-2009 12:05 PM

They aren't as concave as I thought they'd be...

370z4Steve 03-12-2009 12:13 PM

how close is this to the actual diameter over say stock 19"s and do you have any shots with the wheels from a distance to see actual profile?

dlmartin81 03-12-2009 12:14 PM

Good Lord! Where are your tires? :ugh: Is it that black rubber ring around the wheel?

You must not have any pot holes were you live or this car is strictly for show. :icon08:

Wheels look nice. Tires too small for my taste.

pencilnink 03-12-2009 02:33 PM

Those wheels look sweet, can't wait to see the full blown pics.

!xoible 03-12-2009 02:34 PM

lol G2's have in the US since SEMA and before. I've seen them long ago on a E92 M3 which belongs to a dude up in santa monica. those were the first

zman1910 03-12-2009 02:36 PM

Oh c'mon now can't you give us just one full pic.....those pics aren't any different from just looking at the rim itself in some magazine. Please!!?

bullitt5897 03-12-2009 02:58 PM

If it were me I would not go for the stretched look on those rims... it looks off like something is missing. With a flat or low concave faced rim its better to look performance orientated than to try and stretch the tires as it gives the impression that the tire were too expensive so we went a size too small. other than that it looks clean!

Stretch tires belong on really low rides with insanely aggressive offset!

MightyBobo 03-12-2009 03:00 PM

Decent looking wheels. Stretched tires are dumb.

thank for for pointing that out..lol so i changed the title to PRODUCTION. the e92 had the g2's but not the final version.

The 20x11 we have on the rear has the face 2, more concave look.

lol tires are not an issue, we are sponsored by nitto.

We decided to go with this fitment to stay close to the overall diameter of the stock wheels without going over. We are going to be running a completely different set up once hit up track events:tup:

DannyGT 03-13-2009 10:26 AM

for real....with the potential of this car and its fenders why do I see stretched tires ?

all show - no go ?

Minicobra1 03-14-2009 04:55 PM

Yes, please put wider tires on it, looks really bad.

LiquidZ 03-14-2009 05:05 PM

I want to see the whole thing now!

theDreamer 03-25-2009 09:15 AM

What exhaust do you have?

ssqpolo 03-25-2009 09:24 AM

PLEASE DO MY HEADLIGHTS!!!...and nice rims...i didnt like them at all in the teaser shots, but once i saw the whole car...it looks great!...i do wish they were a little bit more concave tho. I'm still a lip whore, but i'll keep my stockers for now.

ctzn 03-25-2009 10:31 AM

These rims are growing on me every time I see them, really beautiful.

ChrisSlicks 03-25-2009 11:11 AM

The wheels look nice, but it looks like you had to use a 5/8" or larger spacer to clear the brakes.

Good eye, man! I didn't even see the spacers until you mentioned.

We didn't use any spacers. Which picture shows that we did ??

semtex 03-25-2009 03:44 PM

Yeah you're right. In the 2nd pic, it kinda looks like there's a spacer in there. But now I realize it's just a little leftover rust or something. It's especially visible in the 6th pic. Sorry, our bad! (It's a little strange how there are open gaps like that though.)

BanningZ 03-25-2009 06:46 PM

Absolutely beautiful. They look great on the MB. I may need these for my PG.

kevr6 03-25-2009 08:22 PM

Two thumbs upward from me! I was sold on a deep dish style wheel but these have got my attention!!

Are you sure about that front offset? Their fitment chart shows +42 for 19x9.5 fronts.

G2 Fitment Chart

thats on the conservative side. We are running 20x10 +30 for ours and i double checked with mackin industries and they recommend the +35 instead of the +42.

Of course +42 fits but he asked for the most possible aggressive setup:tup:
