AZ's TSW Nurburgrings are here!!!! Pics

Damn it was a long evening! The UPS man finally showed up at 7:30pm with my new wheels. OMG these wheels look fantastic! I opened them and inspected them all and there are absolutely perfect - not a blemish anywhere to be seen. I weighed them as well. The 19x9.5 comes in at 23 lbs even and the 19x10.5 is 23.5 lbs. Pretty light for such a large rim, especially since TSW has had a rep. for making overly heavy rims. As I promised, here are some pics.

By the way, I eagerly accept rep points!

They look good. Are the 9.5s or 9.0s?

Azroadster 09-17-2010 10:32 PM

9.5 front, 10.5 rear.

Man they look great, I cant wait to see them on the car. I had to laugh, but I must say I misjudged the time to get them to you this time around. I was way off, and I guess my little girl whining with ups may have helped haha.

christian370z 09-17-2010 10:53 PM

Those look awesome, I cannot wait to see them on the car! They do look chunky and heavy but if they measured that weight, they are really a very comparable wheel to the sport rims.

kenchan 09-17-2010 10:55 PM

fantastic!! GL with the mounting on mon. :p

TonyBPD 09-17-2010 11:10 PM

What size tires?

I am not 100 percent sure, but I have heard consistently that the sport package rays are much heavier then you say. I have heard more like 28-29 lbs, but has anyone actually taken pictures of them on a scale?

Chris you always seem to do a great job shipping the wheels out... I never even knew my winter wheel/tire setup would get here so fast! Got the invoice from you one night, the following morning I had the ups tracking #, and the wheels in my hands the following day! Props for the great service! I'll post up pics of my setup when winter settles in chicago.

To the op - those TSW's look great! Can't wait to see them mounted on your Z!

Thanks sparkle, I am trying my best man. I had a conversation with another member and he put it like this. "Talking to you chris, doesnt feel like talking to a salesman, its like talking to a car nut". I hope that was a complement haha, but I do try my best and I care more about cars then most things. My g/f gets mad of how obsessed I am. All of you guys are awesome, and man oh man the knowledge on this site is just great too. I am glad you got the stuff right away.

Now I encourage everyone to bother AZ as much as possible for pictures.:hello::hello::tiphat:

Huh, most places I see them listed around 23 pounds. Regardless, I am in for the installed pictures as I could over look a few pounds for a wheel that looks killer on the car.

zman1910 09-18-2010 12:57 AM

beautiful!......in for pics!

What are your offsets? Must be on the conservative side.....

Chris_1 09-18-2010 01:51 AM

19x9.5 +41 19x10.5 +27, BUT he is running 20 mm spacers from when he had his stocks on so it should look CRAZY good.

Oh and stock wheel weights are 23.2 front and 27 rear for future reference.

fairladyZ34 09-18-2010 02:29 AM

in for pics on car

Chris_1 09-18-2010 02:32 AM

Sunday seems just so far away right now haha.

SoMBrA 09-18-2010 06:21 AM

Waiting for results... hope its a Boy (or girl?)...

Errr... wrong thread? lol

Azroadster 09-18-2010 08:39 AM

Patience guys, I won't have them mounted until Monday. I am very impressed with the wheels so far and like all of you I can't wait to see them on my car. Like Chris said, I am running 15mm spacers up front and 20mm in the rear and I wanted to keep the spacers so that I wouldn't have to change the lugs again. I will be running 275/35's up front and 305/30's out back. I bought the tires (Hankook V-12's) about a month ago and they look great on the stock Rays so I'm sure they will look even better on the TSW's.

I promise - I will post pictures on Monday evening!!

A slight setback. :shakes head: I took my new wheels over to the shop this morning so that they would have them for the install on Monday. He checked and found out that the stock lug nuts will not work with the new wheels. I decided to go with splined lug nuts and he won't have them from Phoenix till Tuesday. Oh well, I guess one more day won't hurt anything. Just wanted to let everyone know so that you won't be expecting pics on Monday evening.

TreeSemdyZee 09-18-2010 12:24 PM

Yeah. Stocks won't work for aftermarket and vice versa.

OMGWTFBBQ 09-18-2010 12:44 PM

I say :ban: until :pics: are up. :shakes head:

Azroadster 09-18-2010 12:54 PM

Sheesh, brutal. I'm tryin'!!

I don't think people are being antsy or taking the wait super seriously, we are just showing our enthusiasm to see the finished product. ;)

Well in THAT CASE, PRESS ON. PICS OR BAN AZ!!!!!!

I kid I kid

kenchan 09-18-2010 08:28 PM

Actually your local autoparts store should have those lugs in-stock. Don't you have any tuner shops in your area? 12x1.25, tapered lug is all you need to tell them. :p

There's a picture of the gorilla (or similar) brand lugs on Chris's site.
