I'm curious; how were you able to confirm they were machined improperly?
I understands it sucks, but it does seems like they are trying to work with you - they are willing to replace the wheels with available wheels, or give you a refund. When I called them about a center cap issue with my new wheels, they had 4 new ones in the mail the next day; I thought that was pretty awesome customer service. So, surprised by your experience. |
Oh Also, when I was looking at wheels the guys from element wheels told me that Axis Wheels had top notch customer service. I thought they had some nice wheels, quite a bit cheaper than Vossen. If I had not gone for Vossen, I was going to go with Axis.

I am very sorry that the wheels were not machined correctly. This is a very very rare problem, we probably only see this problem once or twice a year. I'm also sorry that the wheels are back-order and we can not get you another set for another 60-90 days. This is very normal in the wheel industry. It's impossible for us to have everything is stock at all times. It takes 30-60 days to manufacture the wheels and another 30 days to ship to us. I talked to Kevin from our sales department and he told me that we immediately offered you any other wheel in the Vossen line up OR a full refund. No questions asked. I do not see how that is poor customer service? Please let me know what you would like us to do?? Thanks, Jav |
As per our conversation (Kevin and I) it seems that Vossen wansts me to do all the bending and not Vossen. PM sent back.

Shit happens..... They offered you a full refund or a full replacement set in any other model and you didn't want either. They actually have a good customer service if you check around.

Well, its funny that the dealer thought the same as I do. Like I said, its not waht was said, but how it was said. The whole tone made us feel like we didnt matter. You weren't on the phone....

Nubz, you can't come in here and bash a Vendor for bad customer service when they are specifically giving you 3 very acceptable options to make up for a rare problem. You are actually completely wrong with "Its not what they said, its the way they said" thats just you being immature and trying to punish them for not having your wheel replacements in stock. You posted on this forum and you will get opinions regardless of what you "want" to hear and what you don't. If that were the case, you shouldn't have named this thread "Vossen = Joke" They clearly want to make things right and they did you a favor by sending you a sample (I've never heard of this being done and MUCH less sending 4 different wheels, don't you think thats a little excessive?) And then when something goes wrong accidentally on their end you come in here and make them look bad? I know Jav personally and I've met a lot of his employees and I can guarantee you they aren't out to screw anyone. Stop being a baby and getting offended by someone's TONE on the phone when they are offering you real alternatives to make you happy. |

As a vendor, I typically do not offer my opinion on anything unrelated to products that we offer, but I felt that Jav at Vossen is definitely getting pulled out and bashed.
To the OP- it seems that Vossen had some issues with correct fitment with the wheels that you order. Yes, this is definitely something that needs to be fixed, but you are not getting "Poor Customer Service" from Vossen. What they offered you was extremely reasonable given the circumstances, and I feel that they definitely went beyond their duties to provide you with a fair amount of options. If they can't fulfill your order, then take the full refund that they offered. I don't get whats so hard to understand. There's no reason to call a vendor out on poor customer service when they are offering you fair compensation and options to rectify the issue. |

My Vossen experience: I called Vossen cause the plate on one centercap popped off driving back from the install (damaged in shipping, during install, who knows).
First call - l immediately get a real person. Start telling story in hopes of getting a replacement centercap; guy immediately stops and says no problem I'm gonna get you 4 new caps out in tomorrows mail. 2 days later I get the 4 caps. No issues since. That is excellent customer service. Really sad to see a good company have to deal with completely unreasonable demands "I will only be happy if you give me a set of wheels that are over twice what I paid" - really that is douchbaggery at it's finest! Thanks Vossen, I thought your customer service was top notch; and love the wheels. |

Sending out a sample wheel, offering a full refund, a different set of wheels. You can't ask for more than that. Seriously! A+ for a great vendor who strives for a high level of customer service.
Jav, If I had not already bought a set of wheels, I would definitely consider buying from you guys. OP is completely out of line. |
Replace $2300 wheels for $5600 ones? Ridiculous! You don't want Vossen to bend backwards...you want them to bend forwards!
The more responses to this thread you make the more it illustrates: Vossen = win, OP = fail. Despite all this drama, I hope you end up with wheels that you're happy with in the end, no matter which vendor you go with...but come on, let's be realistic and fair. |

or if you dont like the vossen's, do a SEARCH!!!!! there are plenty of 370z's out there with different wheel setups. there was no need for this thread in the first place. you just wanted to bash on vossen when there was no need be. do a search, plenty of wheels and reviews will pop up
and Jav, awsome job and great customer service. sorry to all the reputable vendors that have to deal with this crap |
