36 psi Hummm....wonder if your elevation (mile high city) has any bearing on recommended tire pressure. Anyone...

Thanks for your input. I averaged your input and aired them down to 35psi.

Just installed my 265/305 RE-11's and I'm lovin it.
All the rants and raves about how the tire rides and handle is true. Now I'm curios on how it's gonna do at the track.. Thanx for everyone's input and reviews on this thread. Especially the one that started it. I'm a believer now!

Guys, can I get some help here.
I have a 2010 Roadster, sport/touring with stock OEM tires that need replacing. I don't track and drive street only, but it's my daily driver. I came to the forums to look for a good replacement tire, saw this review, but the R-11 won't pull up on the Tirerack or Bridstone options screen for my car/model. Are they not designed for my wheels? Is this the tire I should be getting or a daily driver? I'm looking for low noise, long lasting. Super grip isn't really needed since I don't track. Any help is greatly appreciated! Merry Christmas all as well! |

Try that link. Anyways, if you're looking for low noise, long lasting, and not the grippiest tire ever, you should probably just get a set of Hankook Evo V12. Here: Hankook*Ventus V12 evo K110 These are decent daily driving tires if you don't plan on taking them to the track. I have a set of these on my sport package wheels and they get me to and from work just fine. |

Thanks for the tip guys.
Wow, those Hankook ones are only $800! That's half the $1600 of the OEM ones. Are they super cheap? I mean I want daily drivers, not crappy tires that will blow out on me when I get a hair up my *** to go a bit faster on the highway... I do like the price though! |

They're decent for daily driving. I've done some spirited driving on them with no issues. They do have a pretty soft sidewall though. But for the price, they can't be beat. It's ultimately up to you.
Do some searching on Google. They have decent reviews haha. |

These are sticky tires and some think that means less wear. Bridgestone took this into consideration when devloping the RE-11 and at 12k the soft compound will be gone BUT they manufactured a harder second under neath compound to take you to 20-25 k miles for tire life. When it hit the harder compound you will notice more tire noise. It's the nature of the beast. I drive in rainy weather with no problems and they do not cut loose either in dry nor wet. I considered going to Mich PSS on my next set BUT...everyday these tire reinforce my confidence and great choice in this tire. I will be replacing again with the RE-11's. Thats how good they are ! g/l and hope this helps in your decision. Number 1 choice is RE-11 Alternative choice will be Mich PSS |

The Re-11's come in 275/30R19 So the sidewall is tinier. |

^ True, the stock sizes for the sport wheel are NOT availible in the RE-11's. You would need to oversize the tire for the sport wheel to 265/35/19 & 285/35/19.

Ooooooh....I just saw Michelin PSS in my oversize tire width 265/35/19 & 285/35/19. I may just spring for these next time. But at $1796 compared to RE-11's at $1312 is a bit pricey.
