Just finishing up the rear's in mine. They're at least as bald as Z-Girl's and starting to act funny. Not sure if it's small bits of gravel or greasy spots on the road but she's letting me know it's time to put some new shoes oh her. Debating a little on staying on RE-11 or switching over to the 71Rs. Tending toward the RE-11 due to the wear rating on tirerack. I can't believe the number of miles I've run with these with the performance level. Only doing the rears so that's another reason to keep them RE-11s. What do you guys think?

I just saw that they added a bunch of new sizes in the 71s including 265/35 and 305/30. I'm just worried that with me daily driving mine if it'll heat cycle them too much if they have a similar compound to the r888 which I was told does not do well in daily situations

Went with the 285-35-19 RE-11s in the rear. Wheel works had a special, got them for $303 and $50 off each. Ended up something like $616 out the door with stems, balancing and tps maint. kit. (no alignment)
65k with 1st set of RE-50s (2 years) and then 2nd set was the RE-11s (3 years). Lots of higway driving but I think that's pretty kick-a$$

Got my new RE-11s ordered on the Black Friday special at Discount Tire. I went 245s and 285s
$1165 with $170 prepaid visa cashback coming to me in the mail. Final cost is $995 OTD for mounted, balanced, TPMS maint kit... With 17000 miles on my OEM RE050s, the rears are gone and maybe have 3000 left on the fronts. I'm thinking I'm gonna make me a tire swing out of one of the old tires. Hopefully the neighbor lady will want to come over and swing... Last edited by Spoiler; 11-22-2016 at 05:27 AM. |

Sorry, 65k total on the car. I think about 20-25 on the original RE50 and the rest on the RE11s. Definitely over 40k which is still insane!

New RE11s put on yesterday. So far I notice a bit quieter and a somewhat smoother ride

Your going to love them, especially when the streets warm up.

Have a chance to get two new re-11 265/35/19 for $350. But looking at the manufacture date from the pictures, it shows that they were made the 38th week of 2014. Good deal or not. Thanks!

I wouldnt be too concerned about 2014 tires. The manufacturers recommendation is about 7 years anyway and you probably wont have them for 4 or more if you drive it once in awhile.
I'd say go get them |

It may look cool but unless you have forced induction and need a bigger contact patch to prevent spin-out at launch, the added unsprung weight will cost you horsepower and the car won't handle as well on the track. |

Ummmm i am NA and run 305 on stock sport rays. No loss in power, handling is insane, and grips for days for launching. I disagree with every word you just posted based on actual experience.....except for yes 325 fits on an 11" wheel. 315 can fit on nismo stock wheels too FYI.
