quik questions
Hey guys~~~
I have a base 370z... so it comes with 18" alloy wheels... they are staggered 18x8.5 and 18x9.5... now i was gonna get new set of rims with new wheels... like 19" but i just didnt want to spent 2 much money for now... so i m just gonna get staggered 18" rims... that are the same size as the current rims... so my main question is... can i use the current stock tires on my new 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 rims? they are most likely gonna be xxr... but the point is they are same size... as in 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 and the rear... lmk!!! thanks!!! |
If they're the same diameter and same width, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use your stock tires on your new setup. :icon14:

you can use your stock tires on 18's. Dont believe you can use them on 19's. If you get wider 18's you can always stretch the tires.
|
well my current rims are 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear...
the new rims that i am going to order are exact same size... so it should be fine right?! |
You will be fine with the stock tires. I'm assuming the offsets are the same, too.

anyone know the offsets for the stock base 370z with 18" rims? |
Stock is actually 18x8.0 +43 front and 18x9.0 +15 (from my searching, that's what I read) rear.
Stretching the tires just a bit over a 8.5 and 9.5" wheels should be fine. |

are you sure you want some XXR wheel? how about you get some wheel spacers for your stock wheels and push them out a little?
or just save up and get the 19's you really want. :) |

Front: 18 × 8J Aluminum/43 (1.69) Rear: 18 × 9J Aluminum/15 (0.59) They are definitely +15 offset - the rear sport wheels are +30. |
Dude your fronts are going to be hellasunk approved.
Get a lower offset please since I can't convince you not to get those XXR's. |
well i just called xxr... they said it should be fine...
|
OP, have you looked into the price of RPF1? They have way better offsets and sizing. I have a set here in flat black.
18x9.5 18x10.5 both +15 offset |

Very nice wheels for the price. |
I'd rather throw spacers onto the stock wheels than get XXR wheels. Trust me, you'll save some money that can go towards wheels you REALLY want.
Do it right, do it once. |

XXR's are one of the cheapest, ugliest, and heaviest replica wheels you can buy, they don't belong on a new 370z they belong on the millions of Civics that they are currently on. |

JayYoon, Did you look at the RPf1s? They are light, strong, and affordable. You can't go wrong with that combo given you get correct fitment.

Enkei RPF1's are a great option. |
